To start I can honestly say this property has a fantastic location and the owner is very responsive. I will also admit that we are accustomed to staying in high-end, larger lodgings so my opinion is influenced by our past experiences.
A few things that were not on par with our usual rentals: first, this place is pretty small and not recommended for 6 people unless you have 4 small kids. The bedrooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. We were a little thrown by the pictures which make the property look more spacious than actuality (for example, in the master bedroom, there was not enough room for our suitcases so we had to leave one of them in the hall).
The condo is older and poor construction - the walls must not be insulated because we could fully hear conversations of the people in the street as well as our neighbor who had several heated conversations on his mobile. The hot tub mechanical equipment has a constant and persistent squeaking noise that is fully audible from the condo as well.
We had difficulty getting our new MacBook pro and iPad pros to charge (we were able to charge older devices and iPhones).
- no housekeeping
- no ski lockers (so you have to carry skis/boots up and down 2 flights of stairs every day
- the beds have super cheap mattress and pillow covers that are very noisy when you move while sleeping
- some of the furniture could use updating
A future warning: there is a construction project underway on the property across the alley. This will become important for noise when they are working full time.
