We usually stay in B&Bs but decided that being centrally-located in Aspen was important to us. It was a good decision. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. They made excellent recommendations on everything from restaurants to hiking trails. We had a fabulous view of the mountains from the balcony of our 4th-floor room.

Room Tip: Pick a room with a balcony on the top floor. The views are stunning.

We loved the Limelight hotel! We stayed here for a beautiful early October wedding. The wedding party had a discount at the hotel and we had a great experience. We loved our room - beautiful luxury king with a big balcony overlooking the mountains. We loved the continental breakfast (delicious! Varied! plentiful!). The transportation to/from the airport and around two was so convenient and made everything easy. We also loved the free bikes - my husband and I took a bike tour along the Rio Grande trail and around town (go see the John Denver sanctuary!). It was just beautiful.

I kept asking myself when I checked out, "What could they have done differently to make my stay better?" The only answer I could come up with was nothing. Awesome staff, beautifully appointed rooms (and spacious) and all the little extras both in room and around the property.

Great dinner recommendations nearby and within walking distance of many things. Definitely my recommendation for all those visiting Aspen.

Dear Bret B,
Thank you so much for this amazing review! We spend a lot of time thinking about/working on those “little extras” and are glad to hear when they make a difference. We appreciate you recommending us and hope you can join us in Aspen again soon.

Awesome experience. We had a great honeymoon here. Very romantic location. The weather was perfect. We really enjoy waking up each morning with a delicious breakfast. Everything was so close. We did not even used our car during our staying. The time was perfect, all the leaves where changing....

Three friends and I were scheduled to stay in the Limelight Hotel in Aspen Colorado. The day before our departure and well past the 3 day cancellation window clearly communicated by the Limelight, a major snow storm was predicted, and after several hours of anxious watching of the weather, we decided that we had to cancel, knowing that we would lose the deposit. I notified the Limelight and they immediately said that they appreciated the notification and while the policy regarding cancellations was clear, that they would try to resell the room. I was very pleased with the ultimate resolution of the issue, and the continuous and clear communication that I had with the staff of the Limelight. It made me all the more eager to stay at their hotel.

Don't look anywhere else as this hotel is a first class hotel. The breakfast buffet is great, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is great. We have been staying here the last four years for our annual Aspen trip, no reason to look elsewhere.

Can't praise the Limelight enough. If you are looking for a hotel in Aspen look no further than the Limelight. Wonderfully spacious room with 2 queen beds, beautiful bathroom with complementary toiletries, fridge, coffee machine, flat screen TV. Pool and heated hot tubs, pool towels, gym and complementary breakfast. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Excellent check in from Peter on the front desk despite us being 2 hours early he checked us in swiftly and gave us great local information. Shuttle is available but not needed as it is so easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Stay at the Limelight it is a 'gem'

Room Tip: Ground floor with terrace leads onto the pool area.
