“Great place! Cozy and well equipped apartment!”
Reviewed March 31, 2012

We got ourselves a 2 bedroom and 3 bathrooms apartment on the 3rd floor. We shared it with another couple. The bedrooms had a nice view to the mountains. Although we were at the main street, noise was not a problem. The apartment is well equipped with laundry, drier, dish washing machines, etc. One of the bathrooms had a steam sauna. We could cook a good dinner at the apartment with the apparels at our disposal.
I would definitely stay there again!

The Innsbruck offers a great location in the town of Aspen. The condo/hotel is within walking distance to everything, but if you're a bit tired after a day of skiing they have a van to shuttle wherever you want to go in town and will pick you up after your night on the town! Plus, really no need for a car since they will also take you to any mountain within their 4 mountains that you want to ski at for the day. This is a perfect spot to spend your time in Aspen....there isn't anything about The Innsbruck not to like! (ok, they were having trouble with their outside pool, but most people want to sit in the jacuzzi, which was separate from the pool, anyway!)

Room Tip: One bedroom end units only have one bathroom. Sometimes you can book a two bedroom unit but ask for...

My wife and I have recently returned from a 10 day stay at the Innsbruck. On the third day of our trip my wife injured her knee skiing and spent the rest of the trip on crutches and in a wheel chair. To say that the staff at the Innsbruck were helpful and caring is an understatement. On numerous occasions, they transported my wife, along with her crutches and wheelchair, to and from the doctors office, the pharmacy, the Aspen hospital and anywhere else we wanted go in Aspen. In addition, they faxed dozens of pages of documents to the Australian insurance company for us during our stay. Their compassion and concern meant a lot to us during what was a very stressful time for us.

The quality of our room was excellent and that helped mitigate some of the discomfort my wife was experiencing during our stay. Another added benefit was that we were able to stay in the very comfortable "owners lounge" between our check out and our 6:00 pm flight out of Aspen.

The good news is my wife won't need surgery. We intend to come back to the Innsbruck next year.

Thanks so much to all of the staff at the Innsbruck!

Thank you for the kind words. We are very happy to hear that you and your wife made it back to Australia safely! Hopefully the first class made it less painful for your wife. And what wonderful news that she won't need surgery. The Innsbruck is looking forward to seeing you again next year. This time we hope to be driving your wife and ski gear to the gondola without the wheelchair! Good luck with the rehab.

Best Regards,

Kristen and the staff at The Innsbruck

I am so pleased that I choose the Innsbruck for my first stay in Aspen. My husband and I just got home for a four day stay here and we are already planning our next trip. Here are the pros of this particular hotel:

1. Staff - While I never met an unkind person my entire stay in Aspen, the staff at Innsbruck still stand out among the crowd. The always available shuttle was willing to drive you around the town on a moment's notice. And the transports always included a good conversation aimed to help orient the hotel guest to the town and its amenities.

2. Well Appointed Rooms - The rooms (we stayed in a two bedroom condo) are well appointmented and well stocked with every day items. Our condo also had a bonus washer and dryer, which was handy. Out of the three bathrooms, you have a variety of bathing options: (i) steam shower, (ii) jetted tub, (iii) regular stand up shower (glass enclosed). The decor is timely and the space is just right.

3. Main Street - When booking the hotel, I was most nervous about this particular portion of the hotel. But in person, the location became one of the hotel's greatest features. Being off this street made it easy to grab one of the shuttle line to Snowmass (Buses will come every 15 min. to Snowmass) And while the street does have a constant stream of vehicles, I wouldn't categorize it as "busy" as Aspen is a very small town. Additionally, the windows and doors are well insulated and you cannot hear any of the street noise, if there was any to block out in the first place.

4. Close to town, but not smack dab in town - The Innsbruck is just a few blocks from the main cluster of shops/restaurants. This was perfect for us as we could walk to a restaurant for dinner, but could easily leave the bustle to relax back at the condo where there was less foot traffic.

As for the cons, I cannot really think of any. The only real shame is that my next Aspen vacation will be a few months away, which is too long. But when we do go back, where we stay will be a no-brainer--it's the Innsbruck hands down.

Room Tip: Request a third floor room if you can. Great views of Aspen Mountain from the bedroom windows.

It was my first experience in skiing and I've just loved the place.
We stayed at the first floor and I think there could be a little more privacy, but it was not a problem.
I used the very organized, clean and well-equipped kitchen to cook meals.
The apple cider they served at the front desk is delicious!!
The place is walking distance to the bus stop to Snow Mass Mountain.
All the guys are very nice and helpful; they pick you up and drop you off at the airport, restaurants and grocery store.
I would definitely book this place again.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms are better

The garden suite condo we rented had plenty of room (there were two of us), was very clean, and recently updated. The steam shower was an unexpected bonus. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even provided tips about skiing in Aspen). The car service to/from airport and around town was convenient. Aspen Village is also a quick walk away. The hot tub is small but then again it’s not a large resort.

Room Tip: Found a good deal through Orbitz.
