Description: Aspen's iconic J-Bar (short for "Jerome Bar") remains the town's social hot spot, with its lively yet casual dining atmosphere. Ski bums, socialites, cowboys and luminaries - from members of the Tenth Mountain Division to the late Hunter S.Thompson gather at this authentic bar for an hint of the Old West. Sit down, relax, and enjoy a beer, vintage-inspired cocktails and light dining fare for lunch or dinner. And don't pass on Aspen's best burger.

We both had the famous J-Bar burgers and they were very tasty, as were the fries. The service was casual and friendly, and the old Saloon atmosphere just perfect. To top it off, "Mr. Trivia" engaged all of us in a series of trivia rounds, very cleverly created.

Great burgers at a fair price for Aspen. Very friendly staff. The bartender Mark was great, he was extremely friendly and helpful. The bar is a historic landmark and well worth the visit.

The Jerome Hotel and it's casual bar/restaurant is a must when coming to town. Great ambiance, good food, and a really good waitress made for a great night. The Hotel and bar date back over 100 yrs, and anyone who is anybody has tipped one back here. We split a juicy burger and had a Kale ceaser. Very tasty. Walk a few buildings down the street to see where murderer Ted Bundy escaped from the pitkin co courthouse back in the 80's by jumping out the window! He was later captured, and the rest is history.

Bar atmosphere suitable for family dining. Enjoyed fantastic lunch with great food and service. Very accommodating with restricted dietary requirements. Edamame appetizer was terrific. Everything we had was very tasty. I have a feeling that there is nothing bad on the menu. A wide selection of beers are available. Very reasonably priced for Aspen.

Unique items on the menu. You must try their edamame appetizer, stir-fried and garlicky. Only drawback was the wait-time for a table.
