Dining outside on the patio at Jerome was a delightful experience. Been going to Aspen in the summer for 10+ years but had never had more than a drink in the bar or a burger at the J-Bar, so this year, we thought we would give it a try.
Let me start with the service - top notch. Efficient, friendly - even fun. Can't say enough about how well everything worked and how appropriately (meaning not overbearing) the service was, particularly given there were several large parties in process concurrently. Not nearly as important, but do not miss the amazing cornbread which may be the single best item I ate during a 10 day stay.
In any case, thanks particularly to the terrific waitstaff and maitre d, but also based on the very high quality of the wonderful meal, I am already looking forward to my next dinner at Prospect. Five stars from an often grumpy reviewer....
