For me, this is the best place to eat in Aspen. Great, fresh Asian cuisine that is innovative and delicious.

“Second visit to Kenichi”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Kenichi is a busy place so reservations are a must. We had a great time. Food was fresh and interesting. Service was prompt and friendly. This would probably rank as our favorite Japanese themed restaurant in Aspen. Well worth a visit.

“Food is good, but not worth the hassle with the crowd!”
Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

We've been dining at Kenichi Aspen for years. The staff is now less courteous than ever. Thankfully, we had a reservation and were seated within 15 minutes. The food is good, but very overpriced. If you can't skip the sushi while you're here, make sure you reserve several weeks in advance and come prepared to make your way through the crowd of angry diners spilling over from the bar waiting to be seated!

“Fresh, efficient, and yummy”
Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

We ordered sashimi and a variety if roles including specialty roles such as the Blake. Food and service was very good. If you want to save a few dollars don't go there starving-you may want to grab a slice of pizza right before because it is pricey.

“Fun night of delicious dining”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

My son and I went about fifteen minutes before they opened and were seated at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and we had a fun time tasting their unique brand of sake. The bartender recommended the Yellowtail Sarrento, which was so delicious. The miso soup was great too and then we had Dynamite Scrimp, which was outstanding followed by another recommendation from our friendly bartender who personally delivered our carafe of Wandering Poet sake. This time we had salmon with goat cheese - excellent as well. This was a very fun night for my son and I and we'll definitely be back. The service all around was very friendly and attentive.
