Description: Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.

Fabulous steaks! The service was wonderful. There was not a complaint to be heard at our table! I would highly recommend Jimmy's. The bar/restaurant are located on the second level so take time and have a drink in the bar and watch the activities on the street below.

“A lot of fun!!”
Reviewed September 3, 2012 via mobile

After dining at a nearby restaurant we went to Jimmy's for dessert and a drink. The place was rocking'! The service was good, the goodies were very good and Jimmy was bussing tables. Always a great sign! Well done Jimmy and crew!

“So, so restaurant”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

This place came highly recommended. However, while the service was generally fast (too fast), the food was utterly unspectacular. The upstairs location is good, though.

“muy bueno”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

expensive cocktails, i had the paloma- tequila grapefruit. it was a bit bitter but alright. we were starving so we ordered so much food and $40/pp later I was regretting it. It was a great deal at the bar! i took mac and cheese home which was much better from the kitchen.
