This is a fairly short hike that I would rate easy. The only difficult part is entering the ice caves, but a site not to be missed. The waterfall is very impressive with great spots for photos. There is also a picnic area at the small parking area for lunch.

I totally agree with everyone here, however I have hiked further back. I want to note: it's not unheard of to find couple in various stages of undress on these rocks, this is Colorado and the high altitude makes one act crazy at times, spare the children this hike in warm weather.

The Grottos was a different experience.I would recommend hiking boots if walking this trail because my tennis shoes just couldnt keep up with the changing trail. Its beautiful and if adventuresome be sure to check out the ice caves.

This is a nice stop outside of Aspen. The rocks are amazing with nooks that you can climb inside. There are small waters falls and lots to see. Highly recommended stop.
