“Tasty food, fun environment, and reasonable prices!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

We loved our experience at Finnbars. We sat outside but the inside is great as well. Beautiful bar. The food was surprisingly good and we had a very friendly, attentive waitress. The only glitch was that out drinks came as the food was being served- a bit disappointing but over all this is a definite Thumbs Up!

“Best fish and chips!”
Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant in downstairs in a basement so you would never know you weren't in a pub in England. We had the seafood chowder, pulled-pork wedge salad and fish n chips. All the food was great but the fish n chips with the curry mayo was fantastic. Best I've ever had in USA or abroad. Highly recommend eating here while in Aspen.

“Uncommonly Good”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Hip, dark, nice bar scene with some high tops and dining tables. Not just a bar, but unexpectedly good food. Highly recommend innovative salads, seafood chowder (non-dairy, wonderfully tasty), Colcannon mashers, you can't go wrong here. Adequate, casual serving staff. Friendly but thankfully not snooty.

“Great food”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

We walked arounfd Aspen looking for a nice cafe for lunch that had a good menu and good value. We came across Finnbarr because of the lovely outdoor setting surrounded by beautiful trees in a lovely pedestrian mall and yet quiet. There is a Finbarr Irish Pub located down some stairs nearby which looked nice too, but as we wanted lunch, we preferred the pedestrian mall venue. The fish and chips with curry dipping sauce was excellent ($15) and so was the Kale and walnut salad with port and wine vinegarette ($12). Both meals were very large and very tasty. The service was unobtrusive yet very friendly and efficient. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a relaxed Sunday lunch in Aspen. Parking is free on Sundays in Aspen too in Summer so you can park very close to Finnbarr for a relaxed afternoon.

The best french onion soup around and the bar area is really cozy and welcoming. Again....we had 17 people and the service was outstanding and the kids menu was great. Delicious food for all!
