Much needed sports bar and grill in Aspen.

Great set-up between the sit down and bar area. Food was much better than expected (French Onion soup and Reuben Sandwich were excellent). Def. worth going if you want a beer and/or sit down meal without doing the fancy Aspen chic thing.

This is always a great place to be! You can have quiet conversations, without having to yell over a bunch of drunk people around dinner-time, or have an impromptu dance party later in the evening. The food is always good. The bartenders never act "above it" or as though there's someone more important behind you. I have never had a bad time here, whether I'm with my parents, coworkers, friends, or a date! It works for everything.
The only issue I've ever run into was coming in with a relatively large group, later in the evening and having the waitstaff treat us a little like a burden. Having been a waitress for a long time, I understand, but still would have liked a little more enthusiasm, even if it was feigned.

What owner Dennis O'Donovan has done there is perfect, and our annual trip to Aspen would not be complete if not for a visit to Finbarr! The setting is unique, especially to Aspen, and is a slice of Galway right smack in the middle of the high country. The food is terrific (we always have the burgers), and the beer is both wide-ranging & outstanding. We love Finbarr!

I've been here several times and love the food, atmosphere and bar. Great wine by the glass, bartenders are wonderful and good prices, especially for Aspen.

This place does have many televisions and a very large bar to hang around and meet friends. I had the shepards pie and a bite of the burger, they were both very good. There is salmon and chicken but no steaks at last glance. A general overall good place to meet
