“Walk into this calendar picture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

It was surreal. The beauty of this peaceful place is overwhelming. It is worth a trip from anywhere. I visited in September as the Aspen trees hit their peak golden color. I highly recommend a hike in the area to get away from all the other picture taking tourists. Listen to the Aspen tree leaves rustle in the wind in the woods -- you will enjoy it.

“Breath-taking views !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

This specatcular site, a short 8 -mile drive from downtown Aspen, did not dissapoint. The views are Postcard-worthy, with two huge snow-caped mountains centered between two pine-covered valleys slopping down to a spectacular lake, where the mountains reflect in all their splendor. The drive itself is gorgeous, up the Aspen Highlands, with may aspen trees turning gold among snow-covered ground, and fabulous Mountain homes, for a perfect Fall day. Well worth seeing !!!!

“My favorite place in Colorado”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

I live in Colorado and have had a chance to travel across the state. Hands down, my favorite place is the Maroon Bells. It's worth the short hike up to Crater Lake where it's a bit less crowded and you still have breathtaking views. Enjoy!

The Maroon Bells are a destination like no other. Hike the Crater Lake trail and spend 2 hours round trip in one of the most gorgeous, breathtaking places in our country. Bring a camera!
