“Nice and easy mountain”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

We hadn't been skiing in 4 years, so this was a great place to go. Full of green and blue runs. There were lots of kids lessons going on on the green runs.

“Buttermilk Mountain- a delightful secret!”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

We just came back from five days in Aspen- skied two at Buttermilk! Every trail was groomed to the utmost....it was heavenly! There was a few inches of powder the second day we skied , which was a fantastic surface on the groomed slopes.... Very few people there....don't know why....great easy and intermediate slopes with some expert....what a place to cruise through spectacular scenery!

“Blizzard White Out Day, SO FUN!!”
Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

I think this mountain would be ideal for your first day back on skies or a board after a year off - for those of us who only get to ski/ride once or twice a year this is the type of place to get your "mountain legs" back and your confidence up before hitting one of the more challenging mountains in the area.
We rode Buttermilk on the "Blizzard Whiteout Snow Day" of our trip... Visibility was really bad and the snow was dumping but Buttermilk was the perfect mountain to ride that day.
It's the kind if mountain someone who is good or high decent may tire of in perfect conditions but on a Super Powder day like we had it was challenging enough.
We really enjoyed or day here...
Hope this review helps!

“Simple but overcome with X games during our visit”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

The children were eager to ski buttermilk and see the X games during our visit. The preparations and security meant our entry was more difficult then it needed to be and some of the runs were closed in preparation. The runs were basically green and open and were of little challenge after skiing Ajax. It was also a long walk back to the bus stop on the highway made more difficult by the X games security and buildings.
