Gisella is a great addition to the burgeoning Italian dining scene in Aspen. Repeat visit and enjoyed once again.
The restaurant offers a very modern, wide open dining room with a diverse and interesting menu. When we dine Italian - which is often - we generally stick to the pastas. In our recent visit, Gisella was offering a wide range of options. I went with the papparadelle with a lamb ragu, starting with the beet salad. Wonderful!
You'll spend a few dollars at Gisella, but not unreasonable. Wine list is extensive with good choices, including a few under $50 including a nice Vino Nobile in the mid-$40s which was a nice complement.
