Cadillac margarita, pricey for a small marg, but worth the splurge. If you're limited on meals in Aspen, go elsewhere. If you're here for a few days then you'll want to come by to satisfy your craving for some Mexican food. Can recommend the fish tacos and enchiladas dinner. Nothing special about the nachos and cheese quesadillas. Great service.

This place was adorable! Cute ambiance, yummy, yummy food. We ate waaay too much and wanted to eat more. The queso was delicious, and the fajitas were yum. The waitress was super friendly, and the bus-woman was also very friendly. Great little place!

We showed up at La Palapa at dinner time without a reservation. The restaurant was crowded and we were given a 10 minute wait time and it was suggested that we wait at an outside table until then, which we did. We were seated in 5 minutes, the waitress arrived quickly and took drink and appetizer orders. Dinner was excellent with Steak Fajitas that were sizzling on arrival and the Chicken Enchilada platter was generous. Food was tasty without setting your mouth on fire. Despite the crowd we did not feel rushed at all.

Great place to eat (and drink) casually without breaking the bank.

I thought, hurray, we're in Colorado - should be great Mexican, especially in Aspen. Was I wrong. Although the servers were cordial and friendly, our meal began with really terrible guacamole - made with mayonnaise or sour cream - not authentic, no spiciness. The salsa was bland, the enchiladas were dull, without good sauces either. We asked for "spicy" and got the opposite. Try Annies (an old standby in Aspen) for good casual food.

Informal atmosphere with a varied menu selection at a reasonable price. We had the Molcajete Mariscos - a seafood stew cooked in traditional Mexican volcanic bowls. This was my favourite meal in Aspen. The steak fajitas were ok and the guacamole has a lot of room for improvement.
