Description: It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.

Although a little expensive, it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the newly renovated decor stylish. the hostess seating us on the night a lovely Aussie girl and the waiter serving us was a treasure in local knowledge. For our wedding celebration they offered a dessert plate, a nice touch!

My husband and I just went here for our anniversary dinner. We had an extremely nice evening in this newly redecorated contemporary restaurant. The food was outstanding and the presentations beautiful. Portions aren't large so you can enjoy several dishes and experience mouth watering flavor and the chef's inventiveness. We enjoyed the informative staff and excellent service as well as the beautiful and calm ambiance. The restaurant is expensive and would be reserved for a special occasion for us, but we'd be there more often if we had a fatter wallet!

All appetizers were outstanding as well as the main course Sea Bass and Vennison dishes. We were charged for 5 bottles of wine when we only ordered and received 4 and we were charged incorrectedly for 3 of the bottles at higher prices.

Great coffee and I'm a real snob about that...The buffet was very fresh, the service was perfect. Delish!!
