This is our favorite restaurant in Aspen because of the flavorful, interesting, quality food and the amazing staff that treat us like family. The atmosphere is very cozy and unassuming...more of a local vibe than Aspen glitz. But at the same time the food here is world-class quality that you won't find elsewhere. Gourmet Latin...not your usual Mexcan food. This trip we had a wonderfully romantic first night dinner with mojitoes and tapas. The chicken tortilla soup, spicy mushroom cheese dip, manchego potatoes gratin and crisp pork loin tacos were all wonderful. We went back later in the week with friends and had a great time and everyone enjoyed their meals...chicken enchiladas in banana leaf, grilled stuffed calimari, colorado trout, grilled prawns and Oaxacan chicken were beautifully prepared and tasty. Definitely enhanced by mojitoes! Mike, Zori, Matt and Ian make this a very special place you shouldn't miss on any trip to Aspen.
