Description: Since 1963 our family owned bakery has grown to be the Denver Metro Area's go to place for European style desserts, including strudels, tortes, pastries and hand decorated cookies. We offer a daily selection of fresh from the oven streusel rolls, strudels, coffeecakes and an abundant delicious selection of European pastries including eclairs, napoleons, Black Forest tortes, Dobash tortes and lots more. Our baking is innovative and we offer a huge selection of gluten free, dairy free and sugar free options that are every bit as delicious as our traditional ones. Our cupcakes are a fantastic merge of European and American styles that will thrill everyone in your family. We bake in an open view kitchen right in front of your eyes and every year our bakery holds all kinds of charitable events, such as Bake Out Hunger, Cupcakes for A Cause, King Cakes for a Cause as we believe in tithing our sales to our community. We are located in beautiful Olde Town Arvada, where you can spend the day meandering around boutiques, breweries, coffee shops restaurants and historic landmarks.

“Celebrating 50th Anniversary June 6th-June 9th, 2013”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

This is the best German bakery we have ever found! Located in the center of Olde Town Arvada, grab&go side parking lot available, the store building has a warm olde time ambience, filled with heavenly fragrance, wide range of selection(No German breads), and we felt so happy just stepping into the store. There was no sitting inside, so we purchased German dessert pastries and Baklavas to enjoy at home. All excellent, high quality homemade & professionally created treats. The owner, Maro was very friendly and very helpful for our selection. Maro came from Cyprus and claimed the baklavas are authentic baklavas, and it turned to be an unexpected happy surprise that we have found the best baklavas at this German bakery. They are also yummy. FYI, special event will be held from June 6th - June 9th benefiting Arvada Community Food Bank including Cake & Ice Cream(June 6, cost $5), Kaffeeklatsch Social(June7, cost $5), Cake Cutting Ceremony& Live Music(June8) and Kids Cookie Decorating & Face Painting(June9, cost $5). Sounds like a very exciting and fun days.

“Yummy Treats For Everyone!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

We go to this bakery often. Every time we are in Arvada we can't leave without making a stop in the bakery. The German Strudel is the best but I like the variety of chocolate treats without sugar. Love the biscotti which are delicious! The gluten free treats are awesome, too. The employees are always helpful, friendly and often offer a tasting of something yummy! It will be crowded at times but don't let that change your mind about going in. Have a coffee and a treat, you won't regret it!

“The Best Gluten Free, Sugar Free Bakery Around”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

I can't say enough good about this wonderful bakery. This place is heaven sent and I don't know what I would do without it. They have everything! And if by chance they don't have it, just tell them, and they will make it! These folks are great and the service is super friendly. Such a fun place that is truly a treat!

“best strudel I've ever tasted”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

My husband and I were walking to a nearby restaurant for dinner when we were overwhelmed by the most amazing smells coming from this bakery. We decided to check it out and were so glad we did! We were greeted instantly by a friendly and cheerful woman behind the counter. She made herself available for all of our questions and made some excellent recommendations. Thankfully, October is strudel appreciation month (or something like that) and they had what seemed like a million different flavors. I always thought that I just wasn't crazy about strudel, but really I had never had good strudel before. We went with the strawberry/cream cheese one and it was AMAZING! They also offer delicious single-serving sized cakes and delicious cookies. Next I want to try their coffee cake which looked as incredible as everything else!

Fancy goodies for a reasonable price. My Husband loves the cream puffs and eclaires. Don;t go if you are on a diet!
