My cousin plays in a band that was performing at the D-Note during a recent visit. The place reminded me of the Birchmere in Alexandria VA, a fave venue among musicians. D-Note is smaller, but similar exposed brick industrial look and a full bar, with several local brews on tap. Pizza is ok, nothing special, but the experience was wonderful. The band, which does mostly classic rock, has something of a local following, fans of all ages were there -- including singles, parents and grands dancing with their kids, a wedding party that wandered in, a truly unusual crowd and fun evening!

The D Note has something for everyone. Drinks, very good pizza and music. I loved the wine tasting when they had it. They promote local musical artists. Their community involvement is enlightening!

The D-Note is your place for live music in Arvada. Seems like there's always something going on, and the variety is great. All different styles and tastes. Their gourmet pizza is decent but a bit pricey and they do have a small cover charge from time to time to help pay the bands, but it's worth it. Really good beer selection too, not just your run of the mill domestics. Great place to take a few friends for an evening out.

They don't really have outdoor seating, but in the summer they open the big windows in the front so it kind of feels like you're outside. Nice touch.

After reading some of the reviews on here I was hesitant on visiting. I'm glad my friends band was playing and prompted me to go. A nice smaller venue for live bands located in Arvada with an industrial feel to the place. Food was good and so was the service, surprisingly. Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, but it did appear to be a slower Friday night than most places I've seen similar to this. Loved the artwork! Very family friendly, but found ourselves happy to see them go as the kids used the dance floor as a Romper Room. Not that anybody else was really using it. Recommended. Make sure to hit up the old school candy store next door!

We've been going there since we moved to Arvada in 2004. Pizza is fab, staff is always friendly. Never quick, just so you know... Unless you get there while the un is still out you're probably gonna be waiting for food on any weekend night. Sit back, relax, enjoy the local artwork and many times great fun music. Frankly bring your kiddos too. It's a fun safe place. It's really a music, art venue with pretty darn good food not really a restaurant with live music.
