Outdated but comfortable. Clean. The lady who works there is friendly and courteous. This place is located at the end of the main road through town but you are within close driving distance to restaurants. The noise from construction going on at the motel was a bit of a bother but that's temporary. It's the lowest price motel in town.

The motel is nice, clean and warm. It is a welcome change from the Rodeway Inn. The staff was very helpful and the room was nice and just big enough. It has free wi-fi, cable and a warm bed. The bed was comfortable and we were sure glad we had a nice place to stay.

We had two rooms and stayed two nights on Sep 29 - Oct 1, 2017 whilst in the area sightseeing. After leaving on Sunday, Oct 1 and arriving at our next road trip destination over 200 miles away we discovered that two small back packs had been left behind. I called the motel owner who readily agreed to take them to the UPS store and send them back to my home in Colorado Springs. She stated that it may not be possible on the Monday (first available UPS drop off day) as she would be the only person at the property at the times UPS were open. We got home the following day (Tuesday) and to our great delight within an hour of getting through the door, the doorbell rang and there was the UPS package ! Now that is customer service. That apart, I like the Riverside a lot and its comfy cabin feel rooms and beds.

Just returned from spending 5 nights at Riverside Inn. There were 2 of us and needed double queen beds. The room we had was #10 in the corner and it worked perfect for our needs. You do have to go through one of the 'rooms' for the bathroom but again not a big deal. It was still hot at night so we ran the A/C units which covered up the road noise. Yes, there's road noise off Hwy160 and suggestion is to ask for a room further away.

If the front desk person wasn't there, she was likely on the property cleaning rooms or tending to guests. I can bet she was there at 3 when expected. Irene was very accommodating to us and the handyman Terry was helpful as well.

It's a motel not a hotel. It is older but clean and they're working on updating rooms. Have no problem booking again for a similar trip.

Room tip: Furthest away from Hwy160

I had great shower but very outdated room. However, room was comfortable. I am giving low rate because the AC/heater was very noisy turning on/off (I had to get up in the middle of the night and turn it off permanently) and after 4-5 am, the noise from road 17 was loud and impossible to sleep after that hour. I couldn't really rest. For that reason, I will not be staying there again. Unfortunately, previous reviews gave me the wrong impression and I booked a room.
The room had complimentary granola bar, fruit juice boxes, water, coffee and tea.
There is an additional fee for pets. Inquire about the fee before you book.

Room tip: Rm 9-13 may be quieter (no guarantees)
