Owner description: 18 hole course that has delighted visitors for 50 years! Internationally known as one of the world’s most challenging and beautiful miniature golf courses. No fancy electronics, just a good old fashioned challenging & fun layout. Great for the whole family. Landscaping was re-done a year ago featuring native and endemic plants from the Island. Open every day of the year, weather permitting. Open extended hours during summer months.

“NOT an easy course, but still fun”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This course is not full of fancy accouterments and decor. The holes are very challenging, partly because of quirks in the roll of the greens and the holes. We still had fun as we were adults only, but this is really too hard for small kids to enjoy much.

“Putting practice playing Goofy Golf”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

We liked Golf Gardens so much we played twice in two days. Course was fun. Enjoyed reading the Catalina Island facts at every hole. Learned how the Buffalo's arrived on the island...
The par 6 was exciting as well as the holes that dropped to other greens.

Definitely recommend for the WHOLE family!

“Fun course!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

You have to look for it a little, but right off the center of town is a nice miniature golf course. It is very well maintained, and is pretty challenging. I can't recall ever seeing a par 6 before, but they had one. If you like to pass some time playing miniature golf, you won't be disappointed!

“Excellent past time”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

It's located in the center of town, is surrounded by foliage, and is different than the normal ones you see at Boomers, etc. I really enjoyed the stream going through it, too!

“Fun Diversion!”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

A nice miniature golf course with mostly par 3 holes, some par 2 and a couple par 5 holes. Course has shade but that can result in a lot of debris, especially in the AM before the course receives the benefit of a leaf blower. The course is mostly well maintained but a few of the holes were in need of maintenance and one had become an unintended water hazard. The rates are fair especially for seniors. Allow at least an hour for a couple; longer if you get stuck behind a large group. A nice break from sightseeing and probably one of the most inexpensive activities on the island.
