We went scouting for a place to eat in Avalon post normal lunch time. This meant all good restaurants were closed and places like Antonio's were the only ones available as choices for food.
When pizza won the bet, we stepped into a floor covered in peanut shells! Such idiosyncrasies are appealing only when you cannot really gauge your surroundings and noon is definitely not one of those situations. Peanut shells apart, we got a careless waitress who could not be bothered about serving anyone in the restaurant claiming too much work. This put us off food essentially which meant we could not really appreciate whatever we ate. Having ordered 2 small pizzas and one caesar salad, nothing from the order appealed whatsoever. Average is what this place caters, extremely salty peanuts notwithstanding.
There must surely be better places in Avalon. Skip this and go to those.
