My wife and I stopped in at El Galleon to have drinks. We had their house margaritas. They use Cuervo Gold as their 'well' tequilla. This was a great drink - better than most.
The bartender was not the most forthcoming when I asked questions about local activities so I just left it alone. The drinks made up for any concern - they were very good. Trust Uncle Hubie, he knows a good margarita when he has one. And this one, was darn good for a 'well' drink.
My favorite margarita is simple: Don Julio Anejo, fresh squeezed lime juice and Cointreau - served straight up (stirred in ice and strained) with salted rim.
