Let me begin with the positives. Cindy, our guide, was fun and friendly, and knew many details about the island. The views of the coast were wonderful, and it was interesting to see some of the island interior. We were very close to several bison, and even stopped to see a bald eagle in captivity. Lunch was at the airport in the sky.
Now the downside. This tour was supposed to be on a renovated old bus, however, since my husband and I were the only ones signed up, they put us in an open Hummer. The day was cold already, and we literally froze, even though they gave us blankets to wrap up in. Most of the time I was shivering, but when we stopped for lunch at the airport, we were at least able to warm up a little. Basically, it was an interesting tour, but not worth the high price in our opinion. Plus, we were dressed for a bus, not an open Hummer with the wind and cold. We think that they should either run the tour they advertise, or notify you in advance, offering the opportunity for a refund.
