We always come here once during our stay for lunch. They have great customer service and fresh seafood. My favorite is the ahi sandwich with wasbi and their sweet potato fries. My husband had the tuna and coleslaw. He said they were very good.

This place is a little but of a dive scene. That being said, the food has always been great here. The fish is always super fresh and the drinks cold. Had sea bass and shrimp last visit and both were delicious!

After a long day at the beach, my family wanted to get something to eat in the room and decided to try the Lobster Trap. They had a really friendly host (who was working hard through a broken arm) and great food. We had the linguine with clams and the ceviche, which was really fresh. We're definitely looking forward to going there again during our next Catalina vacation!

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday on Catalina, and after renting golf carts we had lunch here. We LOVE fresh seafood and this spot didn't disappoint. The oysters were some of the best I've ever had. Great, quaint spot on Catalina. Very laid back with yummy food!

While Catalina Island offers myriad eating opportunities, the Lobster Trap was our favorite venue bar none during our last trip to this magical town. Do not be put off immediately by the crowded, noisy, hot atmosphere where the pool table has been turned into a banquet table and the diners on the upper level look like they're sitting on a boat in the harbor. The ceviche alone is to die for; we ordered double and devoured every morsel. Fish tacos were yummy too. Friendly, easy-going service. My wife now proudly wears her t-shirt.
