Very clean. Location is awesome. Service was great. Beautiful courtyard. Free wine and cheese every day at 4pm was a great bonus. Continental breakfast was pretty good, bagels, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, and Starbucks coffee. Nice fire pit at night. All inclusive package is worth it if you like tours and/or golf.

Me and my birthday girlfriend came here on this weekend. This hotel is just wonderful! We arrived here at 12:00 pm noon, they told us the room is ready for moving in. The normal check in time should be 3:00 pm. We were so happy to move in earlier, so we could have a good rest after taking the "not so comfortable catalina express".also The breakfast was good!! we eat while we are watching the ocean view! and the room is clean!! has vacation style decorated. and we requested a late check out until 12:00 pm. When we were at the front desk, the server told us we could store our baggage here, so we don't have to carry a huge bag like an idiot while we are exploring the island. Everything is the best here! the only thing i can be picky at is the price, which is always an issue between sellers and buyers! haha! we are definitely coming back!! My girlfriend loves this place!! she admires me of booking this hotel :)

I had planned an impromptu trip to celebrate my husband's birthday and booked the Romance package through the hotel. I had done some research and read some reviews and then called the hotel directly to further inquire about the rooms. Billy spent almost half an hour with me going over every single detail of the room options and packages.

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the ferry drop off point and is centrally located. It is horse-shoe shaped with the suites facing the ocean. We stayed in a deluxe room, specifically 105, which was located towards the front of the property. All the deluxe rooms are located on the sides of the property and on the 1st floor. Each have double french doors leading to a semi-private outdoor area that had 2 comfortable chairs and a table. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The palm trees and chaise lounges around the property reminded me of Hawaii.

Although the room was small, it was clean, the bed was comfortable (and we are used to the Westin heavenly beds when traveling), the interior was nicely decorated. There was a fridge, STARBUCKS coffee, mini safe and flat screen TV.

Now to the other perks of this property: complimentary wine and cheese at 4pm (although it only lasts 30 minutes, but they do give you some nice pours), IPADS that you can check out and use, complimentary continental breakfast, and showers/changing rooms that can be used after check-out in case you go to the beach.

I would suggest booking a package with this property so that you can get the full benefits. The romance package came with champagne and chocolates, continental breakfast delivered to the room, 2 free movie passes to the Casino theater, and 50% off zip-lining (which was a great savings considering it normally is $103 per person). The hotel booked the zip-lining for us at the same time I made the reservation.

We would most definitely stay at this property again. The reason why they didn't get 5 stars: for cleanliness - there were flies/gnats in the breakfast room/wine bar and relentless pigeons that would try to take our cheese and bread - but we are on an island and this is a little beyond their control; for rooms and sleep quality - we could hear the family above because they had small kids - but we did have a good night's sleep.

What hasn't been said already? It is an older hotel but it has been recently remodeled and it is in great condition. The rooms are smaller but adequate. The staff keeps the place looking immaculate. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great and they constantly bring out fresh baked goodies. Wine tasting in the afternoon is a pleasant diversion as well. The location is fantastic - on the beach and by the pier. The lounge chairs on the grass are comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely go again.

We booked a package with unlimited tours, including the ferry over and the zipline experience. The hotel was beautiful, on the main strip, convenient to the ferry and to all of the attractions on Catalina. Most of the property is off the street and has a beautiful garden area with lounge chairs and tables. We arrived early, and were given a room right away. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with large, clean bathrooms. Breakfast was included (lots of yummy pastries, yogurt, fruit but no protein) as was a lovely wine and cheese reception in the afternoon. The wines featured were of good quality and the cheese portions were very generous. It was all very well done, and the staff was excellent. Occasionally, they would fall behind in bringing out food items when things got busy but they were very gracious and kept things moving.

The package was a great deal. We used several of the attractions (zipline, submarine, mini-golf, casino tour, island tour.) We enjoyed terrific weather and the restaurants on the main strip. It was a very relaxing and fun time--and we wished we could have stayed longer. We'll be going back.

Room Tip: Avoid Tuesdays, when the cruise ships come in.

Enjoyed staying here, the location was excellent, we had excellent service and the rooms were very nice. Continental breakfast and Wine & Cheese in the afternoon were included. We were able to get a 'package' that included unlimited tour selections if space was available each day. We were able to get 2 tours on day 1 and 2 more tours and minature golf on day 2. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.
