“TERRIFIC FOOD”

Located about two blocks off Highway 49, Awful Annie's caters to both locals and tourists. The portions are plentiful and both service and prices are reasonable.

“great food....cool atmosphere....great for family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2011

We had brunch at Awful Annie's in Auburn. I had a burger, which rivaled any burger I have had. The resto f the family had breakfast stuff and it was equally good. Parking can be a problem !!

“Terrible service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2010

Family lunch trip, food good, avoid children’s menu , tastier and fresher options available on regular menu., waitress was beyond rude and unfortunately ruined our lunch experience.....thankfully there were other staff members who were covering the basics of water and refills. Pastrami sandwich good....

“Good Food and Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2010

We ate here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The atmosphere is cozy and typical of a small mom-and-pop type diner. I had Annie's Egg Muffin and my husband had the "little mess." Mine was great and my husband's was wonderful. It had so many different vegetables in it that with every bite he was discovering another ingredient. The service was great. We both had a cup of coffee with breakfast and they didn't let either of our cup's ever get down even to the halfway point.

Even though we were stuffed, my husband decided to order desert because he had enjoyed his "little mess" so much he figured that thier deserts must be good too. He was right. We shared a plate of bread pudding with rum sauce and it was wonderful. I'm not normally a big fan of bread pudding, but this one was excellent. It wasn't too eggy tasting and it had a nice cinnamony flavor.
