They have about every WWII and newer warplane displayed outdoors. It is a shame they can't be inside and protected from the weather but it a great museum for memories.

A great collection of aircraft, a wonderful indoor museum. I wondered abou the history of Castle Air Force Base and there is a wonderful and inexpensive book in the gift shop written by former museum curator Dale Griffin. It is The History of Castle AFB, Home of the B-52. Very intereting history and good photos. All the money for the book stays at the museum. Open Cockpit Weekend is the 3rd weekend in May. A great time to visit and see the inside of these old war planes.

Every year they decorate the entire lot with a spectacular Christmas display that is fun for the entire family including hot cocoa and cookies!

Be prepared to spend the day here. Its fun. On certain occasions yearly they open the cockpits of several planes so you can get a birds-eye view of the inside controls. They have an entire B-52 Stratofortress Bomber there. We held a birthday party there for someone who flew in one during Vietnam War. They opened it up to all of us in a private showing. The planes are pain-stakingly maintained and restored by volunteers. So much to see. A must for family outings. Also indoor museum, restaurant, and gift center. When my father (a WWII Vet) came to visit, I took him. They let us in for free and escorted him in a golf cart. Treated him very well. Don't know if that was normal, but I suspect it might be. Paved pathways to all planes for wheel chair and stroller access.

Fantastic museum with a large selection of US aircraft (and an RAF Vulcan) and extremely helpful staff who in my case arranged for a visit the restoration centre. You need to allow plenty of time for a visit and as its nearly all outside and take frequent breaks. Overall a great experience and a facility well worthwhile visiting.
