“Tons of Fun”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

Great for all ages, great location, very fun. They have an expansive, two layer kiddie pool section, with all sorts of cool fountains and baby slides, two more advanced slides, hot tubs, and one "thrill-ride" called the stampede. most thrilling when you ride in the front, and with heavy people.

“Fun but expensive day at this small waterpark”
Reviewed December 17, 2010

Mustang Waterslides is a small waterslide located at Lopez Lakes, just outside Arroyo Grande, California. There are only two main "attractions" or rides: (1) a pair of curving 600-foot waterslides and (2) a ride called the Stampede which is essentially a 35 foot half-pipe. Both of these rides are VERY fun for adults and teenagers but were a little much for my children (both under 7). Other than these two water rides, there is (1) a fairly large kiddie pool with three very small (10 -15 foot long) slides and several waterfalls for kids to climb in and out of, (2) a snack bar and (3) restroom/changing rooms -- thats it! So there is not a lot to do for the price of admission which for adults is $20 and kids which varies between $10-$18 depending on their height. To top it all off, the water, even in the summer is VERY COLD - like takes your breath away and makes your teeth chatter cold!!

Having said the foregoing, My wife and I actually had a great time on our visit. Our kids loved the small kiddie pool and we could lay out on comfortable lounge chair and watch them in almost all locations in the pool. They had lots of college-aged lifeguards so it felt safe. When you were too hot for laying out by the pool (it was near 100 degress the day we went) you could dip into the freezing cold water to cool off simply by going down one of the huge slides or wading into the kissie pool.
