Don't miss the butter chicken always featured on the great lunch buffet. This well appointed bistro is open every day and is convenient to HWY 1 State Park exit. Dishes change but the chicken curry, butter chicken and Tandori chicken are always available at the buffet. $8.95 Wonderful value, lovely setting.

Dropped by from Capitola to pick up take out, excellent Chicken Curry and Lamb Korma (Josh Rogan). Garlic Naan was great, too. Food was ready within 15 minutes of our call and portions were healthy.

I would not go back to this restaurant, but I am from Montreal and have high expectations both in the quality of food and (especially) the service. The main course appreared before we had finished our appetizers and was basically thrust on us, pushing our plates towards us to make space on the table. The plates were cold and even after asking for hot plates "too hot to handle with bare hands" they were returned only mildly warm. After a second request the plates were still delievered bare handed and by this time the dishes which were not so hot when first delievered were now significantly less so!
On most occasions when a waiter approached to ask a question he rudely interrupted us.
I eat Indian food on average once per week and have no after-effects. The day after eating at this restaurant my system was not in good shape, which leads me to question the quality of the food.
Take the trouble to drive to Santa Cruz for Indian food!
