This place was brilliant. I stayed here just for the night... oh I wish it was longer, but I was on my way somewhere. Amazing rate too, through a third party supplier. The place was huge, in a beautiful room that was on the top floor of one of the round, eco-buildings. Very quiet, right in the middle of the bush, and beautifully appointed with this amazing wood and everything was very solid... except for the bed, which was exquisite! Can't fault the place.
Pictures look better online than it actually is. Walls are paper thin and bathrooms very cold. Cleanliness was average. The whole experience was average . Probably try some other hotel when traveling to Anderson next time

We saw the photos and needed a hotel in Redding while visiting friends, so booked one night.
Gaia Hotel was a 10-minute drive south of Redding and located off the highway, but not close
to anything of interest. The hotel's layout is a series of buildings spread throughout the parking
areas, around a pool. It was a snowy winter night, so we didn't use the spa or cafe. The room
was large, clean and comfortable, but not up to "resort spa" standards. Staff was friendly and
professional. Reminded me of a high-class motel.
We would like to thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey. Feedback from our guests is very important to us and your input helps with our continuing efforts to provide excellent service and a great stay. Thank you so much for your business and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
My wife and I stayed here for a day in September. We had coupons that paid for our stay but the hotel still charged us the full amount. I had to make multiple phone calls and talk to three different people before the charge was reversed. This was just the beginning of the story. The hotel decided to charge us again a month later for no reason. On my credit card, it showed that the hotel charged us for one day's stay, which is completely untrue. I called again and this time, I couldn't even get to the manager on duty. Every time we called, I received the same response. "The manager needs to look into this. She is currently out of office." We haven't still gotten our money back neither has the manager called us. This hotel has stolen our money and I wonder how many other customers they have done this to.
I'm so sorry that there's been some difficulty in resolving this. We definitely want to get this cleared up as quickly as possible. Our accounting manager has been trying to follow up with you since you contacted the front desk about this issue. She left a voicemail for you last week but has not received a call back. Please contact us and ask for Melody Green, our accounting manager, so we can get this resolved right away. Thank you!
Very nice hotel. WE had a patio facing the water pond and fountain. So pretty. We also used the pool and the hot tub. Both were nice. They have a nice work station that two can use comfortably. Nice beds and linens. They had a microwave. There is also a restaurant right on the site. We didn't eat there, but it looked nice. This hotel is about 7 miles from Redding, CA. Easy access to the freeway, but it was not noisy. Nice lobby with coffee in the morning. There is no free breakfast however, like most Choice hotels.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us of your experience during your recent visit with us at the Gaia Hotel & Spa. Your comment will be shared with our team and we look forward to serving you again in the near future.
