Baymont Inn & Suites Anderson

This motel is good for a one night stay if you want an acceptable and economical place to sleep. Anderson, incidentally, is only 10 miles from Redding and cheaper. Redding has more places to eat.

The rooms are clean [this is from people who wash toilet and faucet handles when they use a room]. The beds have sheet covered blankets, not bedspreads, which are always questionable. Bathrooms seemed clean.

The rooms are pretty small and economically furnished. The walls are a little thin, and there was moderately loud TV on either side of us.

For $62 + tax—aaa rate-- we got a comfortable, fairly new king bed, small, analog tv, microwave, and small refrigerator. Breakfast was the usual forgettable motel fare.

Warning: this is one of these places that tack on a fee for a safe and don’t mention it. They’ll take the charge off as soon as you ask. Otherwise, it just slips by.

Stopped here heading home after driving 10 hours. Staff very friendly and efficient. This is a quiet hotel even though it's situated between a highway and an interstate. Picked this place since it's pet friendly and It was the first time my year old maltese stayed in a hotel. Worked out great. Room well stocked with linens and coffee supplies with fridge & microwave. Will definitely stay again.

I would happily stay here again. The bed linens were beautiful. We had a fridge and a microwave in our room -- which as we got in late, we used for dinner. Breakfast was good, with lots of fresh coffee, great O.J. and even hard boiled eggs. Very nice hotel.

I don't expect the Taj Mahal for $70/night. It's a decent hotel. Not as nice as the Baymont in Redding, but that one was also about $30 more a night, so there you are.

Wireless internet worked fine. Room has large screen TV, microwave and frig. Not much space in the sink area.

It's located right across from the outlet mall, so if you want to do that, it's a good location.

We hadn't planned to stay, but a vehicle breakdown forced us to. The staff was great. They gave us a large discount as there was only one room left and it was early am when we arrived. They were very helpful with area info. They allowed us a late departure as we were waiting for repairs to be finished. We were allowed to stay in the pool/office areas after we checked-out. They have a great breakfast area with alot of options. The staff was quite friendly and very understanding.
Ashley and Sheila were great, we couldn't have asked for more. They are certainly appreciated by us, hope the company takes the opportunity to read these reviews. They went above and beyond for us. We frequently drive through N. Cali to get to the bay area or LA. In the future we'll certianly be more likely to stop and sleep, and this would be the place.
Thanks again Ashley & Sheila!!

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and felt I should review for anyone looking for information. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It seemed dirty and I found a bug in the room. Towels were like paper, carpet was dirty, pool heater was broken, jacuzzi was cold the second day and most of the exercise room equipment was broken in pieces on the floor. We complained and they told us all of these things were scheduled to be fixed the following week. The gave us a $15 discount which didnt begin to cover the above mentioned issues.

We stayed here for Christmas last year. The room was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. Staff was very friendly. Quiet despite the close proximity to the highway. Highlight of the stay was the indoor pool...a must have for a stay in the winter months!
