“Good Food and Service”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

I visited this while at a conference and visited here with some others that had seen it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

I tried the Domery sauce and found it quite good. It was basically a red clam sauce, but it was quite good. The others had pizza and a few other varying items and their comments were between average and good. The pizza got a bit better praise.

The restaurant service was good and our waitress was quick and friendly. The restaurant was also quite clean.

I would suggest this restaurant, but it is more casual so don't expect more.

“Good for a group if you want a little distance from Disney”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Ate here with @ a dozen people after a trade show. Fried Mozzarella was awesome, the highlight. Clams were so-so. Had veal parm for dinner. Solid but unspectacular. Would happily go back again but wouldn't go out of my way to recommend.

“Excellent Food and Excellent Prices”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

This is a wonderful family style restaurant. Great for groups because there is a private room. The menu is huge. Entrees come with soup and salad and garlic bread. The pasta is so good served with Mama's sauce. You will be taking food home because the portions are huge. But that's alright because it all tastes wonderful the next day too. Everyone gets a shot of Anise for "dessert".

“Not Sure What Others See In This Place”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Not sure what the commotion is about. Sorry. Guy Fieri has been here but that's because people wrote him about it. Not sure why. Our waitress was wonderful but service was SLOWWW (not her fault). It took an hour and a half for our dinner to be served, and probably 30 minutes just to take our order. 15 minutes just to take our drink order. Yikes! I had scallops and angel hair pasta. The pasta was not angel hair. It was made with regular spaghetti and was drowned in cheap butter with a little bit of some sort of white sauce. The scallops were huge and very good (although not washed and thus "grainy") but the pasta was the worst I have ever had. No joke. How do you ruin pasta? My daughter's dish was disgusting. And she was served a stale cabernet. We had a party of 20 present and the restaurant saw fit to only assign one waitress, so she was hopping. Surprisingly, she was also waiting on a table across from us with about 10-15 people. And who knows how many other tables she was waiting on. Our very large table had only one salt and pepper shaker, one cheese shaker and one hot pepper shaker. And we were packed elbow to elbow at the tables. I have to rate this as the worst Italian restaurant experience of my life. The place was packed. What do they all see in this joint?

“Tired of Chain Food?”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Located w/in minutes of Disneyland, this family owned and operated Italian eatery is an oasis in the chaos of chain restaurants near Disneyland. It is quaint little place, so reservations are recommended. Great pasta and the mama sauce is awesome. Was featured on Dives, Drive-ins and Diners. Besides pasta they also serve pizza.
