We stayed her Oct 2012 the park was not just didnt feel secure. We had stayed in San Diego the day before and they had 24 hr security. This park didnt even have a gate around it. It also is right across the street from an elementary school. We stayed on the very north end of the park by the pool and the freeway noise was horrible. They also are adding more spots at that end of the park and were jack hammering and noisy construction as early as 7:30 in the morning. I think if we could have stayed more in the middle of the park or closer to the office the experience may have been different. So when making your reservation stay away from the pool area and its not because people are swimming you cant hear that over the noise of the freeway. The shuttle system is great it just would be nice for the office girls to inform you that you need to buy a ticket ahead. There is a kiosks right there and is very easy but all we were told it was $5.00 a day, so we had our money ready to pay as we loaded (since the shuttle arrived just as we were walking up we didnt see the kiosks). The driver was wonderful and let us on so others didnt have to wait while we bought our ticket and we got them later. This didnt only happen to us, almost every morning there was new people and were didnt know to buy the ticket ahead of time. Depending on the driver they would either leave them or make everyone wait while they figured out how to get their tickets. I didnt use any of the facilities so I cant comment on that.
