This hotel was a very good rate. We stayed here mid-september on a stop over trip to San Fran. The hotelroom had plenty of space for our family of 3 BUT it did smell really really musty. The shower curtain was a bit worn. The water pressure was great! The breakfast provided was very good but the seating area was so incredibly small. The woman at the front desk was a wonderful help with out Disneyland visit. She gave us some tips and helped us order our tickets.

My husband and I stayed here during our family trip to Disneyland at the end of Sep. They had a great rate, and a good location to Disney.
When we first pulled up the color scheme was a real turn off, they really need to do something better with the colors. However, the staff was excellent and super helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. And the pool area is surrounded by absolutely beautiful flowers.
Most mornings we were up and going earlier than the other guests (thanks to my little dude that's a morning person), so the breakfast area was fine. On our check out day it was more croweded inside, so we enjoyed the nice weather outside at the picnic tables.
They do have a kids play set with a slide, and it would be great if they could put beach sand in it. The kids got filthy dirty playing in the sand.
We would definately stay here again. On a side note - pick up an ART bus pass at the Annabelle (down the street) and hop on the bus, it was perfect for the kids, and dropped of at Denny's next door.

Thank you for the informative review you sent. I will share your feedback with the owner and see what we can do about the color of the building. I agree with you 100% but unfortunately we seem to be the only two people who do not like it. I will continue to get guest feedback and hope for the best. Your other comment regarding the play area came at an excellent time. We are discussing if we should keep that area as a playground or take it out completely. Again, I will share your views with our employees and take your view into consideration. Thank you for your help in making our hotel all that it can be.

You have your own balcony if you stay in one of the rooms on the top floor. The room was clean. My only complain was that the Wi Fi was terrible! Sometimes it doesn't work. If Wi-Fi is not an issue this hotel is too bad.

I am sorry that the internet was not working well during your stay. We had an incident that took out one of our routers. We have had it replaced since and is back to working order. The front desk does have additional passwords for the hotspots we use as back up.

My family and I stayed for 3 weeks and in all that time, we had no complaints. The staff behind the front desk were wonderful and friendly. Very helpful when booking tours and with suggestions on what to see. The hotel was close to Disneyland, a lovely 10/15 minute walk to that magical place. The rooms were always clean and tidy, thankyou to the house keepers who did a fantastic job. It was great to wake up to breakfast every morning. The food was delicious. Will stay there again and will recommend the hotel to others. Thank you for a great stay.

Thank you for taking the time to express your pleasure with our service. We understand that most people only think to share their experience when there was a negative situation. It is especially appreciated when you take that extra time to just say thank you. From all of us here I would like to say "Your welcome".

There are so many good things about this hotel. The location is very convenient, within walking distance from Disney . With our 8 and 5 year old children it was a longer walk, so after doing it once we opted to buy day passes for the ART shuttle and it worked out great. The stop is right outside the hotel and it's a quick drive to and from the park. The cost for a day pass is $5 for adults and $2 for children. (Note though that you cannot buy day passes at this hotel. You either need to walk one block to Annabella Hotel or get them at Disney.) The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was very good with many good choices, including hot waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, fruit and yogurt, just to name a few. You can save time and money by eating in the hotel before heading out.

We stayed in Room 121, which was the suite. It was quite large, had two Queen beds and a sofa-bed. The fridge was a very good size - big bonus. The beds were comfortable. However, here comes the bad part. The room smelled a little musty and it really aggravated our allergies. The carpet was very old and needs to be replaced. Same can be said about the wallpaper. And aside from the beds, the furniture was scary. It was banged up everywhere and had huge stains. It was gross. We did not want to sit on the sofa or the chair, or even touch it. They belong in the dump. The desk was pretty banged up as well. This is a budget hotel and we did not expect anything fancy, but I find the condition of the furniture to be completely unacceptable and almost unsanitary. I am including a few pictures of the furniture to give you the idea.

We will probably stay in this hotel again because overall it is a great value. Maybe other rooms are in better shape? We did not feel it was worth the time and hassle to ask to move, the room served its purpose for nighttime and naps and worked out OK.

Thank you for your honest review. I have viewed your photos and will immediately schedule cleaning of all furniture. I realize that the rooms are outdated and I will discuss our choices with the owner and see if we can replace items sooner than planned. We have already been looking at carpet samples and will proceed now that the summer season is over. I apologize if you did not feel comfortable during your stay but assure you that all matters will be addressed. I look forward to seeing you again.

If you want an affordable and decent stay near the Disney Resort, look no further; this is the destination to check out. The rooms are clean, and arranged just with the sort of things to keep you organized. The majority of the day is spent elsewhere anyways. We spent three nights at the hotel, and even with our ears pressed to the walls, had trouble to hear some noise from other rooms. The staff did it for us from check-in to check-out, with recommendations and being helpful on any item we requested (i.e. cork screw, extra utensils, glasses and cups, extra bathroom items etc.). The breakfast was plenty enough to keep us going, and frankly, they don't serve any better at Danny's for $10. The benefit here is it's included, so take advantage of it!

The outside amenities are a pool and sand & slide area for smaller kids. The manager is an exceptional one, and even went out of her way to arrange a direct telephone link for accommodations near Universal Studios we needed one day before we left.

Getting to Disneyland is more of a stroll than an arduous walk (20 min. with kids aged 3-12). Forget about a shuttle; not because I haven't heard of one(?), but because you want to walk off your big dinner you had the previous day. You want to go through the Hotel adjacent to the park to get there. That's the shortest route.

Book at least 1-2months ahead to get the best rate of approx. $140 USD tax included. There is NO fitness center at the premises. If you have time for that, there's a hotel attached to the resort that has one. For $550 per night..

Hey, one more thing. There's this little Mexican Restaurant in a strip mall up the Avenue. Check it out for some yummy Mexican dishes. There are delicious, healthy (non-fried or re-fired) items on the menu. Also in the same strip mall is an Italian Restaurant and a combined Liquor & Convenience store.

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side have a view of the fireworks. Walking to the park too see it close up is a m...

Thank you for the great review. I know I speak for our entire staff when I say that it is always a pleasure to help in any way we can when a guest needs that extra help. We understand that most people are not familiar with the area when visiting and sometimes we can make suggestions that make the difference (mostly about how to avoid our traffic). Thank you again and we hope to see you again.
