“Pleasant stay, not a top class lodge, though”
Reviewed February 7, 2007

The rooms are decently equipped, it feels safe all day long, nice crew, but sincerely the continental braksfast they serve is less than I expected. the dining room smelled like stale paint and most of the meals are not over average. All in all if you can afford to go just at the IHOP located just beside the hotel your stay at the park Vue Inn can become more pleasant. The crew speaks fluent spanish, you can get directly at the lobby tickets for Disneyland and it is located just in front of the main entrance of the park. Such a location is worth it all.

We stayed only one of our three nights because when I got up the next morning there were giant cockroaches in the bathroom. I was terrified! I have a three month old and two other kids under five. The thought of having those bugs crawling on us and everything while we slept still make me squirm. Yes, its very close to the park but stick with a good neighbor hotel or one that is not infested with giant cockroaches. Also the hotel displays a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel logo, but I called Disney travel and found out they are not affiliated with Disney. Since our stay, I have been trying to get them to refund my nights stay, but so far have only gotten the run around.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this Hotel. The location was perfect. You can't get any closer to Disneyland and After a long day it's great. We even went back to the room to change clothes (after the Grizzly River Run) and were back at Disneyland in no time! We spent Christmas in the Park and it was crowded but a great time. We had a room on the 2nd floor and didn't hear a thing. The room was clean and basic. Nice to have a fridge for snacks and drinks. Everyone talks about the poor breakfast. It's a typical continental breakfast. ereal, toast, donuts, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee. Good enough to start the day. When we go back to Disneyland, we'll definately stay here and recommend this hotel to everyone!

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights, 1/23/07 & 1/24/07. The hotel recently renovated and the place looks great!
Check-in was fast and easy. Very friendly staff.
We got a room upstairs in the back and it was very quiet. The rooms have new bedding, new carpet, new marble counters etc. Everything was just great.
Only flaw would be the boring free breakfast. More variety would be a big improvement.
We will be staying every time we go to Disneyland. Just a 30 second walk across the road and your on Disneyland property!

Took the advice of other reviewers of this hotel and very happy we did. When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded at no extra cost. The room was a decent size, clean and well set out. Other reviewers advised to ask for a room on the first floor as it would be quieter - we heard nothing except a couple of people walk by our room on the way to breakfast. I imagine the ground floor would be noisier as cars were parked right outside the units.

We could not believe that Disneyland was across the road! Just so convenient if you want to return to the hotel during the middle of the day to have a break from the crowds or grab some warmer clothes for the evening.

The only disappointment was that the breakfast room was being renovated at the time and we had to walk over a half tiled floor with only two tables. I think management could have accommodated guests better during this time.

Staff were very helpful with our queries and booking our daytrip.

We would definitely stay there again.

Staff was friendly. We checked in very early (10:00 am), thinking we would have to wait until later for our room. They actually had a room ready, and set us up right away. There may only be one other hotel that is physically closer to Disneyland's front gate. Hotel sells D-land tickets, which saves time at the front entrance.

Room turned out to be a handicapped room, right next to the laundry room. 5:30 am rolled around and it started to get a bit noisy with the day crew coming on. If I stayed there again, I would try for the second floor, away from the laundry room.

Breakfast bar was low end. Cold cereal, muffins & toast, some fruit.

This is my second stay at Park Vue (Aug '02 and Sep '06) and honestly for the price when compared to hotels surrounding it, its a bargain plus its DIRECTLY across the road from Disneyland main entrance. (Having said that you've still got to walk 5 mins to get from the entrance to ticket booths but its so convenient.) This is the place to stay if you'd like to save some dollars on accomm to spend in Disneyland instead.

We stayed in a Single King (2 people) that is in the same wing as Reception and the room was comfortable and provided everything you'd expect. The breakfast area was being renovated at the time so we took our breakfast back to our room or sat by the pool instead of sitting in the tiny breakfast room. IHOP is right next door and they do enormous American-sized breakfasts that you can share between 2 plus there are plenty of other fast food joints nearby.
