We were travelling with Contiki as part of a tour & our Anahiem stay was here, but we also stayed longer at the beginning and at end of tour come back to Anaheim and stay at this motel again, so because of this we got to stay in 3 different rooms, which were all the same each time - clean, roomy & quiet.

Our 1st room was on the bottom with view of pool, but next 2 where on the back block on level 2 & 3, which gave us great views of Disneyland fireworks.

Found reception helpful when we had enquiries. Another bonus was it had a free internet computer for quick use, which suited us fine to do quick email checks.

As had convience of Contennial Breakfast. Ok selection, but we found it hard to get a health choice. There were some good diners around for cheap, quick meals, all within a 1-5 min walk away.

Lovely 10 min walk to Downtown Disney (15 to Park entrance), if tired we got the bus back which stopped out the front, but we found walking just as easy.

Really liked this motel & would stay again. Also the price was good. We were there in May/June 08 & they wre about to do up their rooms.

we stayed here for 5 nights in January. Clean rooms and bathroom, laundry downstairs, hot jacuzzi and heated pool every night, restaurants next ddor and disney and california adventure just down the road.
Very family friendly, lots of public transport. Not flash but works just fine with very comfortable, clean beds for a ggod nights sleep.
Staff helpful but breakfast could be better. Full of sweet stuff with no nutritional value at all...but hey, we were on holiday!

After a very long flight from Sydney Australia, it was so good to climb into their comfortable beds. This Motel is very good for families and feels so homely. The rooms may be small but very clean which is very important in my books. The recent renovations are great. I stayed in three motels whilst in America and prefer this one over them all. this includes Planet Hollywood, Las vegas. Great western Stovalls even have complimentary Internet. laundry, swimming pool and inter-connecting rooms. Perfect for my teenage and young family. Thumbs up from us. Would definately stay there again.

We stayed here for three nights on a recent trip to Disneyland. The price was great for the location and included free parking and a continental breakfast. The walk to the theme parks and Downtown Disney took about 15 minutes, which worked well for us. The rooms have been renovated since I last stayed here 10 years ago and were much nicer than they were in the past. However, the walls are still thin and the resort is filled with families with excited kids (to be expected with its proximity to Disneyland). They would play out in the parking lot late at night (until at least 10pm) and could be heard in the rooms next door. I'm a light sleeper, which made it difficult to get enough sleep for our early morning starts. Ear plugs are recommended.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! My husband and I took our six children to Disneyland/California Adventure for spring break last year and could not have chosen a better place to stay! The rooms are recently updated, and very clean. Every member of the staff from housekeeping to the general manager was very nice and made our stay that much more pleasant. Penny at the front desk is absolutely fabulous! She was so helpful with our reservations and any questions we had. The staff that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was great, we could take it back to our room to eat while we got ready for the day. They do offer a shuttle to the parks but the location is so close we chose to walk and enjoy the sunshine. There is a little diner next door I believe it is called Co Co's, a fantastic ice cream parlour across the street and Denny's just a few blocks down, this made it very nice for the times we didnt want to eat in the parks. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Anaheim area. I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience here. We are making a return trip to Disneyland this March with another family and have already made reservations at this property. We cant wait to go back!!!

When you fly 20 hours to get to a destination (as we did), you feel as if anything can and will upset you. We flew from Perth, Australia, and when we arrived all we wanted was some rest. When we finally got to this hotel, the staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms were maybe a bit small for a large family but the 2 queen size beds we had were by far the best beds we slept on over our 4 week holiday.

The location was great, close enough to walk to Disneyland, California Adventure Park and a short taxi drive to the Honda Center. Rooms were clean, staff were great with all our requests and the location was fantastic. If I went to the USA again I would definitely stay here again. It was the best stay during our trip, which included stays at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and the Millenium Biltmore in downtown LA.

First, the positives. This motel was very convenient for Disneyland at the price. You are approximately 15 minutes walk from Downtown Disney, with a nice little detour through the lobby of the Grand California. The motel was definitely priced right for its proximity to the Magic Kingdom, including free parking which is a major savings. The rooms were nicely updated and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned and cared for each day while we were over at Disneyland.

Now, for the major problems. These rooms are NOISY! The windows are paper thin and you can hear every single noise from outside of the room as if it were right next to you, all night long. The walkways are very noisy and we actually had an earthquake scare on the first night, only to find that it was simply somebody rolling luggage down the walkway! Everything rattles and rumbles.

The A/C unit was turned off AND unplugged, yet still rattled and vibrated all night long, waking us up every 30 minutes. My son woke up screaming in terror, covering his ears with his hands, and crying. He thought that it was an alarm of some sort and begged us to call the staff to have it fixed. Then it turned off again. For a few minutes. We can only assume that it was vibrating through from the neighbour's room, when their A/C was running?

Finally, the cats. This place must be some sort of stray cat haven, because ALL night every night we heard cats yowling, fighting, screeching, and meowing. And, again, like they were right in your room. We were on the second floor and it was loud enough to keep us awake. Frightening when they'd go into a big screeching fight. And in between fights, there was constant plaintive yowling. It was awful.

In summary, the hotel rooms are nice enough and the value is incredible, but if you choose to stay here, make sure to bring earplugs. Big earplugs. Big comfy earplugs that you can sleep in. If you plan to sleep.
