We stayed at this hotel for our recent trip to Disneyland. We have been three times previously and have always stayed closer to the park. This time we had three generations so we chose this hotel as they had family suites. The staff were the friendliest and always very courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a place for families! And it was swarming with them.

First the downside: There is not enough parking, hard to believe for a motel but true. Cars are double parked everywhere. Management knows this and they do their best to cope. The complementary breakfast is plentiful but by the fourth day you realize that it is exactly the same every day, no variation, none! And it is a mob scene...but it does prepare you for the rest of the day in Mouseland.

On the upside: Our room was very clean and had all the required towels etc. no need to beg for more at the front desk. The second sleeping area had a bunk bed and hideaway bed...good for up to six people. In all, not overly roomy but adequate. And the price was very right for a family.

Tips: the hotel is barely within walking distance of the park but by walking a half block to the Disney parking lot yo can jump a shuttle bus right to the park main gate. Return the same way. No one in the parking lot seemed to care one way or another and the hotel staff are very aware of the scheme but can't recommend it to you for obvious reasons. As they say in the ad, "Just Do It!"

Carry a water bottle into the park. It doesn't even need to be sealed/unopened. The gate monitors don't care. And you can refill it at drinking fountains all over the park. A bottle of water will cost you half your paycheck if you buy it in the park.

The guest laundry is clean and convenient on the second floor. But don't look for your favorite laundry detergent etc. Bring you own to do a load or two. The pool is small but adequate. And it is clean and stocked pool towels. After a hot day in the park it is nice.

Dining: I recommend Clancy's. It is across the street and down a block (away from the Park). Yes, I know ladies, it is a sports bar. But the food is good and the menu is extensive. And families are welcome...and one of the TV's is set to the Disney channel! One night my wife and I split a chicken pot pie. It was huge and delicious!

Room Tip: Make sure you are away from the breakfast room.

Arrived at Best Western Raffles after a nightmare flight from Melbourne where my daughter and her family of husband and two children aged 2 yrs 6 mths and an 8 month old were sitting next to a vomiting family of young children. Consequently, we arrived at Best Western and within hours they too were struck down. I cannot begin to say how wonderful the staff at Best Western were. They did everything within their power to make them more comfortable, including changing sheets whenever needed! We bow to their wonderful staff and say a big, big Thankyou.
The hotel itself is lovely and clean, reasonably priced, has a nice pool and is close to Disneyland. We will certainly stay again, hopefully in better health.

We stayed here for 4night in the kids suit and loved it. It had a queen bed and bunk beds and my kid just loved sleeping on top. the room was very clean and neat there was a microwave if you need it good for lift overs. Loved that the spa was open tell 11p.m. so we could use it after a long day of driving to San Diego for the zoo and Sea World. You can see the fireworks at Disneyland from here too if you are on the 3rd floor. The free breakfast is ok but you cant beat free. If you want there is a Denny's just around the corner. The staff is really nice and helpful they was able to get me checked in early. They have a small store with water and Disneyland stuff if you need to but a tee before you go there, but it closes a bit early at 9 so if coming home late like us get water or snack first. In all I would stay here again.

Hotel is clean and well located. Breakfast is pretty good, but come early to avoid the hordes. Staff is pleasant. You can see the Disney fireworks from the parking lot, which is fun. However, we stayed two nights and they billed our credit card for four. What a mess! Still trying to straighten it out. If you go,I suggest paying in cash.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms near the pool and breakfast areas for less noise.

This hotel is great for people with families as it provides free breakfast, internet, and a nice swimming pool and spa. You can take a 5 minute walk to the Disneyland Toy Story parking lot and take a shuttle for free to Disneyland or the walk is about a mile. Ask the hotel staff for details. They also have a convience store which I would advise to buy any autograph books and pens here rather than at Disney.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. If we needed anything, it was provided promptly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with an outside eating bar. The little pool and hot tub were great. The front desk staff were wonderful, especially Eric, Cruz, and the lady on duty on Sept. 21 in the morning. They took care of every whim. The computer is located right in the lobby and it worked great! The location is perfect for Disneyland as the shuttle is right outside the door. Restaurants are very close. A Denny's is just down the street. Last but certainly not least, the room rates are very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again.
