A friend and I stayed here Sept 2013 for one night (2 days at Disneyland). It was perfect for us, we didn't use any of the hotels facilities because Disneyland was only a 5 minute walk away but everything looked clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. Out of all the hotels we stayed in in America (NYC, Vegas, LA) on our 3 week trip, this one was the best value for money, Rooms are dated and could do with some updated furniture but being so close to Disneyland and so inexpensive it's defiantly worth the stay here.

A relative booked us connecting rooms at the Anaheim Plaza as this was the nearest to Disneyland. According to my relatives, Anaheim Plaza is always a first choice for Disney trips and I think this is a no-brainer! This is just literally across the park and the rooms are affordable. If you just need a place to sleep in then this is the best. The rooms were very spacious but are not new and the bathrooms are not exactly something to rave about but it's clean and decent and this is what is important to me. I heard that the breakfast in their coffee shop was bland and too greasy. Save your appetite for IHOP or Denny's which is nearby. We also liked that it was near other convenience shops and restaurants for a late or quick bite. Keep your money for Disney and pay a fair price for a decent place to sleep in.

We have stayed at several motels in this area, but this seems to be our stand-by and we keep coming back to it. The location is very easy access to and from Disneyland. The rooms are always clean, even if just a bit worn. The only real draw back is the air is difficult to maintain. Either too cold or too hot. Some of the rooms have updated AC units that make regulating temperature much easier. Staff is responsive and have worked with us for group rates. When the refrigerator didn't work, they were quick to switch it out and bring us one that worked. The pool is by far the best in the area, and if you or children like to swim, this is a great + for this hotel. Overall, not super fancy, but easy access, accommodative, clean and a good place to stay.

This hotel is sometimes very clean and other times very unkempt. If you are lucky enough to get there in a good time, the rooms are older and large, and the pool area is spacious. There is no complimentary breakfast, but the price makes up for that.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool, then you will not face Harbor Blvd.

I stayed at this hotel from the 22 June til 30 June and it was wonderful! When we checked it there was a little bit of a wait which was to be expected because of the school holidays. We originally booked a standard room but we wanted something a little bigger. We asked how much it was to upgrade to a bigger room and possibly with a fireworks view. On top of what we paid for the 8 night an additional for the upgrade was $140 for 8 nights in a bigger room and a fireworks view which is a big plus. I would defiantly recommend to do the upgrade. Location is perfect for this hotel on a good 5-7 minute walk until your on Disney property. The hotel is directly in line with the Twilight Zone tower of terror so for myself who loves that ride I loved the view of that everyday and night. Cannot fault this property but the one suggestion I would make is to have an in room safe other wise great medium motel/suites style accommodation for disneyland

This is by no means a 5 star resort. If you are looking for a place to sleep when you are going to Disneyland, then it's great. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate, the pool is GREAT for coming back during the middle of the day to beat the heat, and it is very close to the park. Ours had a microwave/fridge in the room. There is a 7-11 within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the AC was great, and the staff is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here a few weeks ago for 2 nights with my 83 year old mother. She hadn't been to any of the Disney parks, so I wanted to take her. I looked for a hotel within walking distance to Disneyland at a good price. Overall, the hotel was very nice. They charge an additional $4 a day for parking, but they waived that for my mother because she has a handicap placard. The hotel is made up of several separate buildings with 2 floors each. There isn't an elevator to the second floor, but there is an up ramp, so wheeling our luggage to our room wasn't an issue. We were in building 4 at the back of the property, and I recommend that location if you want a quiet room. It is away from the pool and the main building of the hotel. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We had 2 queen beds, a refrigerator and a microwave. The room itself was large, with plenty of room for our things. The bathroom (toilet and shower) was in its own room with a door and there was a long counter with the sink and full wall mirror. There would be plenty of room for a small family to stay. The AC seemed to have two settings---off and freezing, but maybe I didn't know how to adjust it. We weren't in the room very much, but the table, chairs and desk made it comfortable. The place is a bit old, but they seemed to be working hard to keep it maintained. They were cleaning the carpets the morning we checked out. The pool is HUGE, and we watched the Disney fireworks from the pool area on the nigh we arrived. The hotel and its staff was very nice and helpful, but I can't say that about the attached restaurant. After driving in traffic from Santa Monica, we decided to have dinner at their mexican restaurant so we didn't have to get back into the car. The service was TERRIBLE! We waited forever for anyone to take our order, twice they gave my mother the wrong beverage and didn't bother to check back with us. The food was mediocre and even though the restaurant was empty, the wait staff stood around talking and ignored us. I had to flag them down just to get the check so we could leave. We didn't have any other meals there. Breakfast is NOT included with your room, so I recommend walking down the street towards Disney and have breakfast at McDonalds, IHOP of one of the other restaurants along the way. The hotel is close to several gift shops and a 7-eleven. There is a nice looking mall right behind the property, but we didnt' go there. Had we stayed longer, I'm sure we would have checked it out. All in all a very good, no frills, hotel for the price. I will stay there again, but I won't go to the restaurant.

We are so pleased to hear that your mother was able to have her first Disneyland experience with us, and that you would join us again. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review with us. We are very sorry to hear about the service issues you experienced at Mi Casita, and your frustrations with the air conditioning. We have notified the appropriate departments of these issue, and appreciate your feedback. It's so exciting to hear that your enjoyed the Disneyland fireworks from our spacious pool area - we can imagine what an experience that would be to share with your mother during her first trip. We look forward to welcoming you both again soon. Safe travels!
