This place is a disgrace to the Hilton name.. First my little one found cereal in the room we did not eat here. The charge for Internet really??? Parking really makes me mad they are suppose to charge $22 but charged me $30 per night and would not change it. The condition is shameful ripped and stained carpet and last of all we paid a lot extra for a "great Disneyland view" it's a view of the parking garage and the back wall of Disney.

Dear kevint23,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. I apologize if there was a mix up on your bill. As you mentioned, valet parking is $22 per night, and this could have been adjusted by a front desk manager prior to your departure. I would like to look further into this, so if you could share some information with me regarding your stay that would be appreciated. We are proud to offer our guests high speed internet with 1 full GIG of bandwidth. All of our guests can enjoy reliable internet throughout their stay.
Thank you again for your review. I hope to hear from you and perhaps you will give us another chance to show you what great service we offer here at the Hilton Anaheim.

All the best,

On arrival upgraded to the Disney View. Rm 14314 which means 14th floor rm 313. Overlooking the back of Disneyland. The fireworks went off on Fri Sat Sun night only. To upgrade is $25 p/n. Rooms were very comfortable and the bed was so so comfy. All staff were very helpful, I lost my sunglasses in the lobby and they were handed in and returned to me by lost property staff, thankyou. You pay extra for everything, like internet and on your bill expect a tax of around $16 issued by the council for staying in their town i guess. This is added to your bill. If you visit Universal studios on your trip opt for the Front of Line pass its about $30 extra but SOOO worth it to avoid the long wait lines. Overall a nice place at the higher end of the pricing scale. Their was no convention on during our stay so it was quiet and very relaxing. Thankyou Hilton Anaheim :)

Room Tip: room on the 14th floor (top floor) 313, great view of Disneyland fireworks when the go off at 9:30p...

Hi yvettemb-

Thank you very much for sharing your Hilton Anaheim experience with us! We're so glad you enjoyed your upgrade to a Disney View guestroom! Since the construction of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, our view had changed dramatically, but the one thing we can count on is the Fire Works show and boy is it fun to watch from the comfort of your room!

I'm so glad you had the chance to venture out and see other attractions! Universal Studios is so much fun! Next time, you should visit Knotts Berry Farm or Sea World! I know you'll enjoy those too!

Again, many thanks for stopping by our TripAdvisor page! We hope you come back soon!

All the best,

Spent five nights here last March while my sister had surgery nearby.
Breakfast was included. Wow, best breakfast buffet I have seen in a long time.
King bed and fast wi fi.
Really good Hilton.

If you aren't in shape beware of the "spin" class, oh the pain that came later.

Room Tip: Spin class is murder

The service was fantastic; otherwise I would have been incredibly disappointed. The hotel is located about a mile away, you must take public transportation that comes every 30 minutes (or so) to Disney. Not very kid friendly, the pool is small and not appealing. The rooms are really small and they smelled like dirty feet, the carpet was filthy. I would not recommend this hotel; it’s full of people attending a convention, as opposed to Disney. The rates were about $200, which is overpriced – there was not even a mini-bar in the room and the coffee was undrinkable. I would suggest going elsewhere if you are bringing your kids to Disney, I am a fan of Hilton Resorts, but this was a big disappointment.

Room Tip: The extra money to have a view of Disney is not worth the increased rate. Go elsewhere - this hotel...

Spent one night here 5-8-13 at the Hilton Anaheim to get some relaxation and spend some time with my wife at D'Land before going back overseas. AAA/AARP/Senior discount of $107 better than military discount of $125 (thanks for supporting the troops!) I am a Hilton Gold mbr with 174K unused points. So the good and bad:

Good: Front desk person John could not have been friendlier. Very polite – a credit to Hilton! Gym is outstanding - Better than any other hotel I’ve been to except for the Sydney Hilton; Room is good – everything works; Environmental controls good. TV is an LCD HD. Not much interaction with the staff but they were polite and well-trained by Hilton. I like this hotel and have stayed here exclusively while on leave to spend some time alone with my family over the years.

Bad: Given a Lanai room upgrade, not a suite – appears to be a standard room. Located on the Lanai deck which means your room is at the same level as the swimming pool deck or a large chaise lounge area for sunbathing. To keep people from looking into your room (they are at eye level with you) you have to keep your drapes closed. Our room was at the double swinging door entrance to this area. The sound of the doors at 0100 in the morning and occasionally throughout the night plus people talking (and smoking) right outside our sliding glass door was unforgettable. Thanks! Don’t accept this upgrade if you want privacy or a quiet night. (As a Gold, I use to get a suite upgrade in years past. Hotel not crowded, no convention in town.) On my bill was a $1 resort fee plus .17 cents tax on that fee. For what? The only resort activities at this hotel is the pool and lounge area (free to guests), the gym, workout area and internet (free to Gold mbrs;) Military room discount costs more than other common discounts available to others; no microwave or refrigerator; Parking $16 – Crowne Plaza down the road free.

Room Tip: Stay away from the Lanai deck if you want quiet and privacy. Do not expect meanignful room upgrades...

Dear Patrick M,
Thank you for choosing Hilton Anaheim during your stay on May 8th and sharing it here on Trip Advisor.

Just by reading your reviews, we are happy to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your brief stay here with us here at Anaheim.

Thank you for your wonderful appreciation of our team’s service specifically our front desk team member, John Gregory. He is definitely a good example of Hilton service. We are truly proud of him. Our team is a very important asset to the success of this property. They are the ones who make our guests happy and always making sure they are comfortable during their stay and having a good time, whether they're here for vacation or attending a convention.

To answer your question to why you were being charged resort fees. The $1.17 Tax assessment Fee is a fee that goes back to the city to pay for city maintenance. This is in addition to the prevailing California tax which is currently 15% room tax, 2% Tourism Improvement District Assessment. And for our parking fees, these are controlled by the City of Anaheim.

As for our other amenities, microwaves and refrigerators are available with a fee. If guests
have specific medicines that need to refrigerated, our team can waive the fee.

Again, thank you for choosing Hilton Anaheim. We do hope you can visit us again in the future!

All the best,
Jennifer Sacks

I'll tip you upfront on this one. The Lanai rooms are worth the extra $15 and if you don't want to walk a long ways, get a room close to the elevators. The halls here are quite exspansive. The On line Hilton site has the best rates and I found it to be very helpful, I never had to speak to anyone before arriving. The property is well cared for, has a few clitches as other reveiwers have noted. Like handles that may come off, little clitch with the pay per view. The staff is quick to fix it though and or compensate you for your troubles. I would definately use this again as a four person stay in the double bed room was perfect for the Disney day trip we did.

Just finished a two-night stay at the Hilton Anaheim and if you are going to visit Disneyland, then this hotel is worth a look.

The hotel is a part of the Anaheim Convention Center, so it can be busy in the lobby if there is a large convention in town. This was the case for us. Although the lobby was busy the rooms were very quiet and peaceful. The location of the hotel is across the street from Disneyland. We were in the "Disney View" room category and could see the fireworks from our room. This a huge bonus. The rooms are a standard size and I found the beds to be very comfortable. The bathroom is small, but manageable. However, the shower/tub does not have a light over it, so when you take a shower and close the curtain it's pretty dark. The hotel has heated pools and there is a area for kids to play at the pool. Also, there is an indoor pool, but you have to be 14 yrs old or older to use it. Still it's a nice option to have. One thing to note is that the hotel doesn't have a shuttle to Disneyland. Although it's not a deal breaker, I do prefer to stay at a hotel with a shuttle especially when you have young kids. One other thing...this hotel is large and if your room is not near the elevators you could be in for a long walk to and from your room.

Overall, this is a good hotel and I was happy we stayed there. For the price, it was a great value and I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Disney view rooms provide a nice view of the Disneyland fireworks.

Dear Derrick H,

Thank you for your review on this site. We are happy to hear that you truly enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you so much for your comments. We will take into consideration the bathroom lighting during our next refurbishment. We are a short walking distance to Disneyland and the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) operates outside of our doors. The ART is $5 for adults for the day and runs many routes daily. Besides Disneyland, you can catch the ART to other entertainment and shopping areas nearby. If you would like to stay at the hotel we offer a great pool area for the kids as well as a bar and grill to get a delicious meal and drink. We also have three different gift shops in our lobby where you can find that special gift for anyone back home.

Thank you for choosing the Hilton Anaheim and we hope you visit again soon.

All the best,
Jennifer Sacks
