Just got back from a 3 night stay and am sad to say that we were disappointed this time. We stayed here this same weekend last year, booked at the same great rate and loved it, which is why we didn't hesitate to book here again. Unfortunately though this time was different. Starting with check in...we were told there was nothing in the hotel left but handicapped rooms so that's what we got stuck with. I didn't like this room at all! The bathroom was huge (which left us with a pretty small room), which would have been nice except the handicapped accesible shower was awful...sooooo tiny! The detachable shower head didn't have hardly ANY pressure at all and it took forever to wash anything out of your hair with it...and it was hung in a very strange and awkward place on the wall...if you turned it to face in such a way that you didn't have to stand against the wall to get water, half of the bathroom floor ended up soaked...and it even leaked onto the carpet in the room. We used most of the towels each day just wiping up the floor after a shower. Also, because it was a handicapped room, the closet clothes rod was lowered...but it was barely right above the safe, so you really could only hang anything in the small space left on the side of the safe. Speaking of the safe, it didn't work. It's an electronic one and I could never get it to come on or do anything, so completely useless...I didn't have any trouble at all with the one in the other room we stayed in last year so it's not that I couldn't figure it out. We just had to lock up valuables in our suitcase and hope for the best. As far as housekeeping, the sheets on our bed were never really "made"...they were just draped on the bed, not tucked in...not even the bottom sheet...so we had to do that each night to keep them from crumpling up underneath us. We also found a pair of jeans behind the sitting chair in the room so I guess that area never gets cleaned?? Also, the floor lamp had a lightbulb burned out, and the AC was pretty noisy in our room too. These may all sound like small things, and I agree that if it were just one of them I probably would have overlooked it, but so many in one stay just leaves a bad impression. We're coming back to Ananheim in January and will most likey start looking at other hotels to stay at this time.
