We (family of 4) stayed 3 nights. Can't beat the location, almost right across the street from the Disney entrance, and close to McDonalds, Tony Romas, Dennys, IHOP, etc.
The room was clean & functional, but neighboring screaming baby could be heard easily. Towels were plentiful, and OK quality. Jacuzzi tub was too large to be useful (took too long to fill & wasteful of H2O). Two TVs, good selection of channels. The pool downstairs needed to be monitored more (rude kids running & jumping all over the place, at times). It was indoors, so i stayed out.
Continental breakfast was nice to have as an option. Tiny little souvenir store also at the hotel.
Nice to have a frig & microwave in the room too.
But the best part was the location. Maybe 15 minutes from the door to the maingate entrance.

This is a great hotel if you are visiting Disney Land. It is about a 20 minute walk to the parks so it is close enough that you can take a break during the day.

The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, and the bed comfortable. I especially loved that the bed room and living room were separate so I could put the kids to bed and then unwind with a few beers before going to bed. This was a little more than the standard room but definitely worth the extra $25 or so per night.

While the room might be expensive compared to hotels in less touristy places, for being next to Disney Land I found it a great value. It was priced on the low end of the range of hotel options in the area but overall was very good and I would highly recommend it to others.

We booked our room 3 months in advance. The room was a standard hotel room, and it was clean and tidy. Our room was towards the rear of the property, facing the courtyard.
The only noise was the other guests returning late from Disneyland, stomping through, and talking loudly.
The location was exceptional. Right across the road from the main gate to Disneyland.
The staff were helpful, but to a point, they didn't go out of their way to help anyone.
Would we stay here again? Probably not, we would try one of the other hotels along S Harbor Blvd.

Had a great stay at this motel located across from Disneyland's Main entrance. I found the best rate on the motel's own website. We stayed in a "Parlor Suite with Jaccuzzi". My first choice was at the same rate and was a larger room (C1) but was not available for all the nights we were to be there. This room turned out to be just fine for our family of 5. The tub was huge (2 adult size) and a nice treat.
The location was great, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room as expected. The front "parlor" area had a sofa-sleeper and a TV. It was separated by a closing door.

Continental Breakfast was well set up for the large number of guests. It was true "continental"--pastry, toast, apple & oranges, coffee, milk, juice.

The pool is enclosed and was clean.

Note about rates: I reserved in January for our April trip. I watched the rates more than double over a two week period. I was checking back to see if I could get the C1 room that I wanted. I contacted the motel to ask if I could switch rooms if one opened up. I was told that I could, but it would be at that current days rate. We got our room for $89 per night---I saw it go up to $189.00! BOOK EARLY!

This is the perfect place to stay on a theme park vacation, this April will be our third time. Rooms are large, and children friendly. We have done this trip once a year for the last 10 years, we have stayed at the big hotels because I work for a hotel chain. Until 3 years ago when we found the Desert Inn, no hassle check in, no long walk to your car, restaurant nearby has something for everyone. A little hint for those using their internet on vacation, use your cell phone provider for wireless, works everywhere even while your driving, that is a real internet suffer.
I can only laugh at all those complainers, you want the Ritz, pay the price.

This hotel is directly opposite Disneyland and is only a couple hundred metres away from Disneyland's main gate. It's closer than the hotels at Downtown Disney but the great location is about all it has going for it.

The main problems we had with our stay was:
- The wireless internet didn't work and the manager advised just using one of the neighbouring hotel's wireless internet services. The wireless internet doesn't have a very good range so if you want to surf the net, ask for a room directly about the main office otherwise you'll be surfing the net in the lobby like I was.
- The walls are thin. Every morning we woke up to the sound of the woman next door making cutesy baby noises to her baby at 6am.
- The free breakfast is very average - so much so we ate out.

On the plus side it was clean and cheap ($89 - 109 a night booked on their website).

There is a Best Western and a couple of other hotels next to it along South Harbor Blvd, so try booking with one of them before coming to this place.

Stay was just OK - would not stay again f I ever went back. Of the 4 hotels I stayed in my CA trip, this was the most expensive and the least impressive.\

First the good - the room was relatively large and reasonably clean. More of a motel than a hotel, as all corridors faced the parking lots. We stayed on the 5th floor, so was not an issue. We had the 2 room suite, with a small window that looked out at the fireworks. The main attraction - RIGHT across from the park entrance. Had a small indoor pool.

The bad: 1) the staff were extremely rude/ - they acted ;like it was an extreme bother to interact with me, and literally sneered at me when I asked questions about services! Never been so treated by staff! 2) The "free breakfast" is literally toast, really cheap box danish, and weak coffee. The large number of people trying to use the small room was ridiculous. 3) No Internet access except the lobby. They said thee was an independent wireless provider that we can use, but after paying for access, could never connect. Had to tap into the Best Western's access nearby.
