Had a great time

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Mar 9, 2020
The best place to stay and visit Disneyland, it is right across the street. Denny's and I Hop are close by. My grandson enjoyed the pool and watching the fireworks from the roof. It's clean and the employees are very nice.

Rooms are clean! Breakfast was descent and easy to grab and go on our nice short walk to Disneyland! The only thing we disliked which isn't that big of a deal and wont discourage us from staying again is the shower head! The pressure is lighter than we are used to and it's kinda low. But overall we have stayed before and will continue to stay here for our Disneyland vacations!

Comfortable beds, adequate room size. Can't beat the location -- directly across the street from Disneyland. Low-priced restaurants, convenience stores and pharmacies all within walking distance of hotel. Clean indoor pool and free breakfast was also a plus. Don't really need a car here if only visiting Disneyland. Low cost shuttle from Orange Co. airport took less than 1/2 hour. This was our 2nd time at this hotel and we would come back again.

Room tip: Top floors are probably the quietest, but after 10pm it's quiet anyway. Many families with little children stay here.

I have worked in the Hotel Business including Marriott Hotels. During this time I have worked as a General Manager over a condo division so I have considerable experience in Hotels. I would be very pleased to have several of the Desert Inn employees working for me. the rooms have always been clean and neat. Other than a light bulb we have never had any maintenance issues with our rooms. We have now been staying with them for over 5 years with an average of 25 plus nights a year. I would recommend the Desert Inn to anyone in fact we have had several friends and family stay at Desert Inn with the same experience we have had.
This with there convent location to the front gates of Disneyland cannot be beat. I never do reviews but I needed to just put this out there and thank Peter and the others at Desert Inn for our wonderful vacations. We will be returning soon.

For those of you who love a spa and pool, their pool and spa have recently been redone. They are very nice and inside. Their deck for viewing the fire work at Disneyland is also a great feature.

We really enjoyed our 11 day stay!
Yes it’s a modest hotel, but you really can’t beat the price! The beds were so comfortable , and the pillows were great! Water pressure was a bit low but acceptable. Front desk people were fantastic . Even the breakfast, although not a hot one was still enjoyable. I would not hesitate a minute to stay again!

Room was bigger than we expected. Very clean. All staff were very friendly, always smiling. Complimentary breakfast was good. Had a room in the back corner so nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
