The Doubletree Anaheim is a great place to stay if you are looking to put on some mouse ears and visit Disneyland. The rooms are large and well maintained, and the living room and master bedroom are far enough apart that one light sleeper (me) could get some zzz's while my accomplices watched television loudly in the other room. The bathroom was also large and sparkling clean and the pool was great for an afternoon dip.

I will say that the hotel was not quite as close to the Disneyland entrance as I had imagined (maybe a mile away). There are shuttles and taxis willing to take you the distance at set rates, but I simply walked as the entrance tickets were expensive enough as it is. There was a Sheraton hotel between the Doubletree and Disneyland, but it was far more expensive according to my online search.

We enjoyed four fantastic nights at this hotel. The first night we walked to Downtown Disney, which took only about 15 or 20 minutes. The next few days, however, we took taxis. For the three of us, they were always cheaper and more convenient than the ART. I admit, I really liked the flexibility.

Check in to the hotel was easy, the cookies were amazing, and our room was comfortable. We just had a standard room, which was just fine for us.

We only used the pool briefly, but it was nice. And we enjoyed quick breakfasts at the cafe... and one long, leisurely one in the dining room. All were good. The little gift shop was useful, too, with a nice staff.

I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: We were on the seventh floor. Definitely cannot complain!

The pool was to small & in the shade. seems to be wrong to be charge for resort fee's and for parking. I don't want to be nickel & dime with fee's. I would probably would look for a hotel with less fee's and complimentary breakfast.

This was by far one of the best stays that I have had for family travel!
The suit that we had was well laid out, very clean and comfortable.
We were here to visit Disney with our two younger children, so having the living and bathrooms seperate from the bedroom was important.
Others have posted the distance to Disney was too much... We had a rental car and it literally took 2 mins to get from the hotel lot to a parking spot in the main Disney lot. We usually had a visit to the park in the morning come back for a nap and a swim and head back to the park.
The hotel staff were amazing from the room keeping to front desk and restaurant they all bent over backward to make the stay great.
Kids eat free at the restaurants too which was awesome!

Dear Jay G,

Thank you so much for your review! We hope you returned from your visit to Disneyland with some terrific memories. I really like your idea about returning from the park for a nap and a swim - many guests aren't aware that Disneyland parking allows re-entry at no additional charge. Again, thank you for your review. We hope you'll visit the Doubletree Suites by Hilton again soon.

Warm regards,

Deborah Fisher, Manager

This hotel was rated very high and I can certainly see why. We were thrilled with our stay at this Doubletree. The front desk staff and concierge were quick to help and to offer suggestions to improve our stay. The buffet breakfast was a great way to start off our day and with the 'kids eat free' policy - this place can't be beat. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very clean. We had no issue with noise or room temperature. We really can't say enough about the hotel and its staff. We look forward to our next stay! Oh and the cookies are AMAZING!

Ok we picked this because we couldn't get into the Disney California hotel for a reasonable price. This looked liked a nice hotel on the net and it was. The only problem is it does NOT have a free shuttle and you waste time getting to Disneyland and back and because you are walking so much at Disneyland you are exhausted by the end of it and to wait for a bus or taxi or walk is just way too time consuming. You are hardly in your hotel so stay closer to Disney in any hotel if you are time poor.

We ate at the restaurant and had room service all was good, the pool and spa was great. We had a suite overlooking the pool which was lovely however we had asked for a view of the fireworks and we were put on level 3 this is impossible from my opinion to see the fireworks unless you were very high up. By the way actually be at Disneyland for the fireworks it is very good.

Room Tip: Definitely pool view

The room was clean and quiet. It was perfect for my family of five. I was able to put my children in the bedroom and close the door at their bedtime. I would definetly stay here again!!! No complaints at all.
