This hotel was rated very high and I can certainly see why. We were thrilled with our stay at this Doubletree. The front desk staff and concierge were quick to help and to offer suggestions to improve our stay. The buffet breakfast was a great way to start off our day and with the 'kids eat free' policy - this place can't be beat. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very clean. We had no issue with noise or room temperature. We really can't say enough about the hotel and its staff. We look forward to our next stay! Oh and the cookies are AMAZING!

Ok we picked this because we couldn't get into the Disney California hotel for a reasonable price. This looked liked a nice hotel on the net and it was. The only problem is it does NOT have a free shuttle and you waste time getting to Disneyland and back and because you are walking so much at Disneyland you are exhausted by the end of it and to wait for a bus or taxi or walk is just way too time consuming. You are hardly in your hotel so stay closer to Disney in any hotel if you are time poor.

We ate at the restaurant and had room service all was good, the pool and spa was great. We had a suite overlooking the pool which was lovely however we had asked for a view of the fireworks and we were put on level 3 this is impossible from my opinion to see the fireworks unless you were very high up. By the way actually be at Disneyland for the fireworks it is very good.

Room Tip: Definitely pool view

The room was clean and quiet. It was perfect for my family of five. I was able to put my children in the bedroom and close the door at their bedtime. I would definetly stay here again!!! No complaints at all.

The Suites are approximately a 15-20 minute walk from Disney. It isn't easy. Especially the walk back after a 10 hour day on your feet! There are buses/taxis which will be able to get you there if this is a problem, but if it is really that much of an issue, perhaps consider one of the hotels across the street from the Entrance.

We were able to get a taxi from Anaheim Amtrak Station to the hotel without any hassle for $15. Note that this is the AMTRAK station, and NOT Anaheim Metro station, which is actually Anaheim street in Long Beach, which is NOWHERE NEAR DISNEYLAND! We figured that out just in time.

Anyway, the hotel is beautiful and refurbished, and give you the feel of being in an era gone by. It is serviced by a gift shop, a 'grappa lounge' and a small cafe that serves Starbucks coffee. Upon arrival, warm chocolate chip cookies are a welcome gift for a hungry traveler.

The room we had was absolutely huge, especially compared to the squishy rooms experienced in San Fran and LA. The bathroom was fine, shower pressure was good, but not separated from the bath.

We managed to get this hotel at a really great rate. My view is that if you're going to Disneyland, the amount of time you will spend in the room will be negligible. You will only be there to sleep. Therefore, go and blow your money at the Grand Californian etc at your own peril.

We found the staff to be very friendly and obliging. We thoroughly enjoyed the brief time we spent at Doubletree Suites. The hotel is also serviced by a shuttle which picks you up from outside and takes you directly to LAX.

Our four person family, ranging in age from two to 60 something, recently spent four nights at the hotel during a vacation at Disneyland. We selected the hotel due to the high marks it gets on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The staff were consistently impressive: great customer service skills, friendly, helpful and responsive. Titus at the front desk was a stand-out. Housekeeping was efficient and effective. The hotel is obviously well-managed and runs very smoothly; it is clean, well-appointed and in good repair. Rooms are large (depending on which configuration you select) and nicely furnished. Beds are comfortable. Air-conditioning is relatively unobtrusive and effective. The hotel has a nice pool and hot tub.
The buffet breakfast was bountiful, diverse and economical. The fact that children eat free is a nice touch and a definite money saver. We ate dinner in that same restaurant one night and found that the food varied widely in quality, however. That was not a major drawback as we ate evening meals at Disneyland or at one of the many other restaurants in the immediate area for the remainder of our stay. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Parks or there is shuttle which stops right out in front. We would definitely stay there again on future trips.
