This hotel is perfect for the person who likes hotels that do not have that chain feel. It is staffed, by friendly, helpful people. We have stayed here twice and have had a positive experience each time. It is pretty only about a 15 minute drive to Disneyland, if that is why you are in town. There is a small kitchen with paper towels, dishes, dish soap, and other items so all you have to bring is the food. They even had ice cube trays in the freezer! On our last trip, we wanted a home base that we could poke around from, and this hotel was good for that too, it is maybe a half-hour drive from the ocean. The rooms are unique, and do not have that cookie cutter feel you can get in other hotels. The hallways are wide and well-lit. The curtins to the balcony are good at keeping out the sun when you want a little extra sleep in the morning. Most of the rooms overlook parking lots, but other than that the hotel meets all of our expectations. We found them to be pet-friendly, which on our last trip was the deal-maker...we couldn't find anyone to watch our dog at the last minute and we were pleased to find out that The Hotel Pepper Tree is pet friendly (with a very reasonable pet fee). All in all we like staying here. Oh, and they have wireless internet available (ours was 5$ for two days) which is a must.

We wanted to find a nice place to stay in Anaheim where we would start our USA trip, the first stop being Disneyland. Hotel Pepper Tree provided us with a homely kitchenette suite with a sweet spanish touch that was affordable for our budget. We were pleasantly surprised and felt instantly at home there. We are from Australia, and found out the owners were 2 aussie couples so that also helped us make our decision. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the housekeeping was impeccable, as expected. We would definitely stay at this lovely little place again if we decided to visit the USA again in future.

The service was excellent. The hotel was under rated, I was so pleasantly surprised to see how clean and cosy this hotel was and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The decor and rooms were so consistent with the Aztec theme and I found it to be comfortable and welcoming and so easy to access. Even my teenage boys were impressed with the facilities, pool and computer and restaurant.

I was greeted warmly and was quickly in a beautiful, very clean suite. The full kitchen is so nice and convenient. Southwestern touches and furniture made it feel like an exotic locale. balcony was very relaxing and a great bonus. Really enjoyed the entire staff and property. There is a quaint but beautiful pool and barbecue area for guest use w/ picnic tables and gas grill. The grounds and common areas are well appointed w/ antiques and peaceful accents, such as the koi ponds. Breakfast was good and inexpensive at the restaurant on site. Excellent place to stay.

We stayed at this Hotel after staying at another hotel which was closer to disneyland, we spent 2 weeks on a road trip around CA. Wish we had of found this place before we booked the other place. we found place to be great, very good price. good location between Disneyland and Knotts berry farm.
When we come back over in a couple of years will book this hotel.
