I loved the uniqueness of this hotel and the staff were amazing! The Azteca Restaurant attached to it had the best food and also very friendly staff, it made my stay in Anaheim very enjoyable.

Hotel Peppertree is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly, professional and extremely helpful to make sure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. I will be staying there again when I next travel to Orange County. It would have been just that bit better if there were safes in the room, but that would be my only comment. The room we had was a studio apartment type with built in robes. The bed was comfy and the small patio had a wonderful feeling to it.

Although it isn't in the best part of town, and further from Disneyland than I would like -
I would ABSOLUTELY stay there again! You WILL NOT find a all around nice hotel like this for a cheaper price.

The staff had no problem with our early check in request (we needed to put the baby down for a nap in between Disneyland visits), and tried to find us a very quiet room, which they did. The room was spacious and included a kitchenette, which I didn't expect! The dressing area was quite large with a big closet and separate lavatory and shower. The beds were comfortable as well.

The cable TV was not great, and that is my only complaint.

Another thing we liked was the complimentary wine we received at the restaurant that night. We figured since we had 2 free glasses of wine coming, why not eat dinner there (which is their goal, I am sure) and we were SO glad we did! Azteca served very good Mexican food, which we felt was pretty authentic. We particularly enjoyed the ceviche de camarones tostada.

Lastly, there was a free continental breakfast which was just fine, and it was served in the restaurant, so if you wanted to order breakfast, you could. We didn't as we were still full from the night before!

Give this privately owned hotel your business. You won't be disappointed.

We booked here based on the reviews we had read at this website and we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful and polite, the rooms were a good size, quiet (we were on the reverse side of the building away from the main road on the second floor) and well equipped. They were kept very clean and are wonderfully quaint and individual.. Certainly glad to get away from the bustle of the downtown Disney area. The pool whilst not big was great for all of us to jump into at the end (or beginning) of a hot day out. Breakfast at the restuarant was sufficient (and included) to keep us going through the day. It was also good to have the option to prepare our own food in the kitchenette in our room.

One thing to keep in mind is that you need a car to get to Disney from this hotel as it is about three miles from the main gate (we know, we walked it!!) You can get a transit bus to and from the parks from directly outside the Hotel (you need to change once) which costs $5.00 per day per person and is good to ride the transit system all day and this will get you to the park in about 30 minutes, but after 8.00pm the return could take you longer as the service is reduced and often times you have to wait 10-15 minutes for the bus transfer. Taxi will cost you about $17.00 each way (although on one occasion we did get stiffed for $27.00!!).

To make this hotel the perfect Disney stop I would really, really, really recommend the owner look into getting a shuttle bus/van which would make life so much easier for those of us who chose to fly in and not hire a car (also enviromentally friendly as only one vehicle needed as opposed to dozens of cars going to and from the park).

We will happily return here on any future trips to Anaheim
