“Even Daddy enjoyed the meal!”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

It can be easily argued that this place is overpriced, and I would agree. However, for a one time splurge, we truly had a blast watching our girls with the princesses. Our meal was good, but the highlight was when Cinderella kissed our baby boy on the forehead and called him Prince Charming.

“Not worth the money”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

Character dining was a 30 second hello with unfriendly service. We spent close to 300 dollars for nothing really. Should have tried something else. We had very disappointed kids.

“Great place for your little princess”
Reviewed July 5, 2014

Nice relaxing meal by the water with Disney Princess interaction...it was a little pricey, but we didn't have to fight the crowds to see some of the Princesses. The meal itself was good.

A great spot to watch the World of Colors shoe. Good food too. If your traveling with a little girl this is the place to be. Character meals are a real treat for little girls.

“Magical Time for the Kid in ALL of us - with good food as well!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

June 25th, 2014 we made our third visit to Ariel's Grotto in California Adventure for lunch and once again the magic returns for the entire family!

As I mentioned in my post last year, it really helps to remember this is about the kids and try to help them see the positive of the experience - and with the help of the Disney characters and staff it does become one of the most magical experienced lunches ever!

The menu changed slightly from years previous but the food was still presented well and tasted excellent - for the kids it is difficult to eat because of the princesses who come to visit the tables but it's good enough they usually finish it off!

This year my wife and I both had the Red Oak-Smoked Honey-Whiskey Barbecue Tri-Tip with Thinly Sliced with Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables - it was unbelievably good - excellent!!!

The princesses visiting the table this year were Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Tiana where in previous visits we also saw Snow White as well.

Of course this is Ariel's Grotto so the guests are greeted by Ariel at the bottom of the staircase leading to the dining area where there are hugs and pictures galore for guests.

Once again I can safely say that the experience was phenomenal and watching my daughter throughout the time spent there, we will be returning to Ariels' Grotto
