My family and I decided to eat at Goofy's Kitchen to celebrate our son's second birthday after our great experience at Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
We went on a Wednesday night for dinner. We had no problem checking in and we were called to our table within a few minutes after meeting and taking pictures with Goofy. We were seated near the exit, so we did not know what to expect based on prior reviews 0f sitting near the exit. However, we did not have any issues. We ate our food very slowly to ensure that we would see all of the characters. Thus, our dinner lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes. In order of appearance at our table, we saw Pluto, Jasmine, Minnie Mouse, Dale, Chip, and Alice. Some of the characters were better than others. For example, Jasmine was not that great, but Pluto was excellent.
As for the food and service, it was very average, especially for the price. The waitress could have done a better job keeping our drinks filled and the food was spotty (e.g., pot roast was excellent, but the macaroni and cheese was runny). It also took an extremely long time for the waitress to bring our son's birthday cupcake. As a point of comparison, the food and and service at Cinderella's Castle were excellent.
With that said, you pay for for the experience more than the food and the experience was worth it. We will probably go back in the future.
