I love taking my kids here for character dinner. I was there during spring break, Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Alice and the Mad Hatter was there, going to all the tables signing autographs and taking pictures. It was awesome! The only complaint I would have is the price. It was a little expensive! I think the picture you take with Goofy when you first enter the restaurant should be included with the meal price!

If you go to Disneyland with young children you should splurge and take them here. The buffett is delicious but the most important thing is the characters that come to your table and speak with the children while you take their picture.

This is our 2nd visit to this restaurant (during our 3rd vacation to Disneyland, we stay at the Grand Californian). We go here to see the Princesses for our daughter and we regret it every time. The food is like a cartoon come to life. Sugar everywhere! There is dessert and ice cream and gummy bears, it is ridiculous. There is minimal fruit (only fruit salad scraps). Also, the scrambled eggs taste weird and regular buffet is low quality. It is also very dark in the food area. And it's expensive! At the Grand Californian, Storyteller's restaurant is a massive step up, please eat there instead. It is a clean, bright, happy place to start your day. You can get platters of fresh fruit, scrambled regular eggs or egg whites, and they don't just have cold Mickey waffles sitting out, they actually cook them fresh and bring them to your table. It is a big step up in quality and cheaper than Goofy's Kitchen. We will never go to Goofy's again and will stay at Storyteller's from now on.

Had a reservation for 20 people for my grandsons birthday and set up two tables of 10!on opposite sides so it made it difficult to interact with both tables. They said they couldn't put the tables together because it would block the exit. But there were other configurations they could have done to make our celebration and interactions better. I will not recommend big parties because of this. Poor rating. I think they could have accommodated us better. They didn't even try to..

We went with a goup of twelve, and really got what we expected in terms of the food, medium at best, but thats not why we went. There were 3 characters that came through in our 2 hour stint here. The place was also dirty, which with all the kids they roll through is not a shock but there seemed little in the way of care from staff. To top it off, our child with a peanut and egg allergy who didn't eat anything had a reaction. Skip it, save your money and wait in the 30 minute line to see the princesses in the park. Ariels Grotto is also a much better option.
