Hubby and I had a chance to dine at Club 33 duing a recent visit to Disneyland. Diners must be referred by a member of 33 to eat there, and reservations are a must.
We had not visited for a few years, so we were pleasantly surprised to see two buffet tables in the hall, one for cold appetizers such as cheese, shimp, lobster tail, and another just for desserts. Mickey macaroons, cheesecake on a stick, and fudge bombs were beautifully displayed, reminding you to leave some room for them!
We ordered the main course of lamb medallions, and blackened redfish. Fig bread, olive bread and corn rye with rondells of butter were delivered and devoured. Hot coffeeand a sampling of sweets ended a lovely meal. Service by Terri Jo (only 30 years of service under her belt) made for a superb experience, as did the ambiance of one of Walt's favorite spots at the happiest place on earth
